We are fortunate to have the resources and the know how to extract it.

Oil / gas could have been truly scarce, like gold, copper, titanium etc. and we would be subject to ever increasing costs.

This development, that Saudi Arabia and therefore the middle east, no longer matter as much; should get more recognition. Our challenge will be to prevent weapons of mass destruction from the region.

No this is not Trump winning. We did this despite eight years of zero, because much of land in Texas / Oklahoma / North Dakota is NOT controlled by the federal government.
