Self defense, inside of your secured property, is respected in Argentina.

Despite them hitting her in the head with a gun and trying to tie her up, she was able to get free and grab a revolver hidden beneath her pillow...
TOUGH lady.
TERRIBLE robbers. Now dead robbers.

Khalsa shot the two men, killing one instantly. The other, badly wounded, died in the yard after running outside. Neither man has been identified.
Furiously trying to think of a yoga/trigger control wisecrack here, but failing.....

Two Downward Facing Dogs, thanks to the plucky yoga instructor.
To: marktwain
Always like a happy ending, although I do prefer a .45.

A .38 Special is a perfect weapon for a woman who isn’t a gun buff. Point and pull with enough power to stop a bad guy (depending on the round).
To: marktwain
I just love happy endings.

I know it is just the effects of a translation, but when I read “one of the two antisocials received five shots in his body, falling dejected in the same place”, I thought, “Man, if I took five 38s to the body, I’d fall dejected too.” :-)

The Yoga instructor owned two Taurus .38 Special revolvers, one of which she kept under her pillow. It is likely the revolver used was a six or seven shot model. Or a 5-shot snubby for an under the pillow pistol.

I thought it was a pretty good Google translation...

Or a 5-shot snubby for an under the pillow pistol.
It seems likely that she fired at least six shots...

When they make an action movie about it, her catchphrase will be, “Namaste, mother#%*~er!”

Or maybe she kept both of her revolvers close by. A two-fisted gun fighter. :)

In all honesty, a quality 38 special is truly wonderful for everything human defense related. Id step up to a 357 for tougher critters.

Perhaps, after taking five shots to the body, a better translation would be “falling exsanguinated”. A happy ending nonetheless. :=)

Chile is not Argentina.
But yes, the fact that they were inside her house means that she will not be charged as long as her guns were registered.
