Kentucky is not a right to work state. The Democrat controlled house has killed it when it came up. That will change next year since they got slaughtered in the election and Republicans went from minority party to a super majority in that chamber.

Ford just re-tooled their Ky plant 2 years ago.
Ther has been NO discussion of moving it to Mexico!

Something is wrong here.

Specifically the Lincoln plant. It’s still a win.

Looks to me that Ford still plans to move Focus production to Mexico. Not sure what this is about—did Ford announce plans to close this plant? If so, why?

Why would he move it to Mexico? Ford will be repatriating major bucks for the necessary capital improvements. Plus a reasonable corporate tax that will allow Ford to be competitive in other markets.

The Lincoln plant was never going to Mexico. A small car Ford plant was the one going there.

Who knows? Just maybe that might change.

I certainly didn’t hear a thing. And I live 20 min. from Ford HQ. Cripes, around here just turn on the radio to hear something about Ford.

I take it that you live in Michigan?

If so, thank you for your electoral votes!

That’s the Focus production (note that I did not say “plant”). Focus production is moving to Mexico, and Wayne Assembly (the “plant” itself) is being re-tooled for the new Ford Ranger. It’s about 4 miles from where I live.

Closing the Ranger plant in St. Paul was the dumbest thing they ever did.

Dude, I never thought Trump would take Michigan. I was more than pleasantly surprised early that Wed. morning. And most of the night shift that evening became giddy around 0200. [My company makes parts for Ford, and yes we ship to Mexico].

Not as pissed as you were about the Pence pick. Not even nearly. And how do you feel, now that Priebus is on board? LOL—just go away, troll.
