I truly believe Trump will take care of Sherrif Joe. Remember, they were both birthers as were all of us (we are NOT conspiracy theorists) who are familiar with image manipulation.

Not to worry. Joe will be wearing his badge again if Trump has anything to say about it... and he will.

Yes, I used to listen to Chris on the radio when I worked in KC. Good guy, solid and reliable.

Good point! Its actually that dual citizenship that I think made Obama ineligible. He might have been born in Hawaii, but I think 1. he was born to a minor and 2. when his mother married Lelo Soetero, and adopted Barry, Obama became and Indonesian citizen and at that time Indonesia didn’t allow for dual citizenships.

I think when he was shipped back to his grandmother he wasn’t a US citizen and I doubt that he ever filed for it. jmo

People kept looking at the birth certificate, but I think it was his citizenship when he returned that was in question. I think they actually liked the birth certificate investigation because it kept people busy and not looking at the loss of citizenship.

Arpaio didn’t have support. He did it all on his own. He needed our blessings and our donations. He got nothing. Did anyone here give $5 to his reelection?
We need to monetarily support those we want to keep. We have 2 years to think about it.

So how does that work? Is he giving up his paid job?

I imagine the "unpaid" part will be augmented with him not spending much time away from his real job to insure no hint of impropriety - perhaps he has vacation time or other avenues (not that most politicians need an excuse for "getting away"). Besides, Kansas is Trump's and the GOP in Kansas took all 4 of the House seats - they probably bless anything he can do to help Trump as a way of helping their constituents....elections have consequences and this time around they consequences are in our favor
