Watch as the dullards at CBS News try to figure out why ObamaCare rates are spiking

The press is a willfully ignorant advocacy group

Charlie Rose, Norah O’Donnell, and Gayle King are all very wise people who know what they’re talking about. Frankly, it’s tough to overestimate their brilliance. They’re smarter than you, smarter than me, and their analysis should always be considered sacrosanct.

For years, they wisely ignored the warnings of conservatives who argued that ObamaCare would destroy the American healthcare system. They scoffed at concerns about rate hikes, evaporating choices in terms of plans and doctors, diminished or rationed care, and stuck to the company line about “saving the average family” money.

MSM is going to ramp up coverage of spiraling ACA costs so that many will accept the inevitable government fix (to the problems government creates).

What I find amazing here is how many commentators seem to shrug off these price increases with the comment, “Most of the people using the ACA exchanges get government subsidies that cushion the increases.”

F’n BS! What about those who, as BJ Clinton disengenously said while paving the way for a Single Payer proposal, “are busting it 40 to 65 hours a week, have doubled premiums, and have half the coverage?”

It might not affect the vote, because most ACA users have their subsidies, but still... it’s an outrage.

Minor quibble: the word 'spiking' implies that we're seeing a price 'spike,' and a spike is temporary.

This price increase is not temporary, it is permanent. In fact, it is incremental, if ObamaCare is not done away with.

It’s the media and the Democrats who “Carry The One” when they don’t bow to him.

Put Congress and the Executive Branch on ObamaCare - stat.

Liberal smarta**es always roll their eyes and mutter about how stupid conservatives are when they ask the question,”How are you going to pay for this?” When the Democrats passed the Social Security law signed by FDR on August 14, 1935, conservative Congressmen warned that it would go broke. They would be amazed that it’s lasted this long….thanks to a mountain of crooked bookkeeping and amassing a twenty trillion dollar debt that no one can repay.

Insurance companies fault. Bush’s fault. Soon to be Trump’s fault.

The media has been throwing in a Democrat Talking Point at the end of their coverage of this,

“But...most of those extra premiums will be offset by government subsidies”

so once again...We the Taxpayer get to pay THEIR higher premiums along with out own higher costs.

Joe Biden pretty much set the stage today for Trump to be the reason for anything bad happening when Hillary wins.

Middle class workers will have to drop their insurance because they don’t qualify for subsidies and can’t afford the premiums. Obamacare was never meant to help them out but instead to create a whole new group of government dependents.

offset by government subsidies

They got the sign wront. This not a government subsidizing a private venture, but private ventures given license to steal from a captive market to subsidize corrupt government cronies. Behold! The true cost of the Clinton foundation.

It’s worse than that, because the “prices” for care are jacked up if you don’t have insurance. The insurance companies pay different rates—list, rather than wholesale— than people who walk in, unless they plead poverty, raise a fuss, and negotiate. When you’re sick, you can’t always do that.

So, you’re also screwed without insurance if you get sick.
