I didn’t care for the last version. I will wait until it goes down in price before I get it. Usually a couple of years before that happens.

I’m playing Battlefield I and it is a beautiful tribute to those that died in WWI.

I am looking forward to the game, but have to admit I am one of the many people that absolutely HATE the new art/graphic style.

Civ III was my favorite. Once Civ IV came out, part of the issue became finding a PC that had the graphics capabilities to run it. I remember hours of DirectX installations, updates, hacks, etc at the time. Never bothered with Civ V so I'm not sure where they took it from there.
But boy do I remember the hours spent with Civ III and hearing the background music in my head as I tried to sleep.
Lol....build your own map, load it with tons of resources, settle it, and develop an ICBM before the other guys even get to horseback riding. Dude approaches your border with a pikeman, so you nuke the crap out of them.

I am blessed with a computer that runs Civ V without a problem - I’m hopeful VI will run smooth as well. I certainly understand the problem when graphics get pushed so much that it eliminates people from accessing the game on purely technological grounds. My problem with the new graphics is they just look too cartoony and like mobile shovel wear. More realistic graphics lend to better immersion in my opinion.
Once all the DLCs were developed Civ V was a great game. I think you would like it. I guess that’s a mute point with VI on the way.

Agree. Really enjoy V. Not so sure about the art style of VI.
