Strategy memo leaked: "steal yard signs"

Jay Michaels wrote recently here at American Thinker of the lack of Trump yard signs this election compared to the number of Mitt Romney signs back in 2012. Back then, in his solidly middle-class neighborhood of “cops, nurses, teachers, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, small business owners, and retirees,” there were Romney signs displayed on the lawns of twenty percent or so of the 130 homes. Now there are no Trump counterparts.
Michaels concludes that this lack of signage is indicative of less support for Trump, with a supportive theory that it may be a matter of marital political discordance, where wives are less inclined to vote for Trump because of the candidate’s boorish behavior toward women. However, a quick survey of the many comments following the article will quickly disabuse you of that as the primary cause for the lack of Trump signage. Far and away, the most frequently expressed reason for failure to publicly demonstrate a citizen’s loyalty and support for The Donald with signs or bumper stickers has nothing to do with domestic disagreement within the home, but rather with liberal Democrat lawlessness.
Comment after comment to Michael’s article reveals a reluctance to publicly declare one’s political stance for fear of signs of being stolen and homes and yards vandalized, or, especially in the case of bumper stickers, with one’s car being keyed by inspired members of that mob of supporters of free speech and inclusivity who support Hillary Clinton. Those comments came from wide swaths of this country and, quite sadly, represent a reality that this old man never thought he’d live to see: Americans afraid to publicly post their political loyalties for fear of retribution from disagreeable fellow citizens....

I see ten to one Trump signs in Northern Ohio. It is always a shock to see a Hilary sign they are that rare.
Ha! In San Antonio? LOL no frickin way am I putting on a bumper sticker or placing a yard sign. But wifey and I are voting Trump.
But did the owners remove them or did vandals? And were the owners just “embarrassed” and still voting Trump or did the “scandal” actually change their minds?

We are supporters yet we have NO signs,

Cause i do not feel like having my home, truck, car etc stoned, egged, keys=ed, spray painted, etc.

I would never post a Trump-Pence sign or affix a Trump-Pence bumper strip. The reason: Democrap thugs’ vandalism, and possible physical danger to my person if contfronted. I even had McCain bumper strip torn from my car in 2008. I swore off using signs/strips from that time forward.

Even without changing the laws, the locality might be the issue. One year I had 3 or 4 signs in front of our house. I looked out the window one day to see a municipal truck removing them all. He drove away before I could stop him. I called the municipality and was told that yard signs too close to the street would be removed due to visibility. They weren't any closer to the street than other people's signs for Dems, and I hadn't blocked anyone's view of our straight stretch of road. Our township is loaded with D's of course. I wasn't able to get the signs back. I was told that they'd been destroyed already. I didn't believe that story either.

Marriage is about mutual respect. I could never respect - let alone marry - someone who votes for any Democrat for higher office. And pantywaist husbands who tell their domineering wives they voted for Hillary need their Man Cards revoked.
The general public is not energized for Hillary - remember the joyous folks all happy because with Obama they wouldn't have to pay rent/groceries/phone/gas, etc.? Even Hillary's "she's the best" ads don't have that kind of energy......
I travel all over a large part of Texas for my job. I’ve seen lots of Trump/pence signs all over the place. A week or so ago, I was driving along a road somewhere in north central Texas, when I spotted a large Hillary Clinton sign. I was a bit surprised- until I got closer and saw that it said “Hillary for Prison, 2016”. :)
