Removing CO2 From the Air Only Hope for Fixing Climate Change, New Study Says

The only way to keep young people from inheriting a world reeling from catastrophic climate change is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions dramatically and immediately, according to a new paper. Not only that, but it's also necessary to aggressively remove greenhouse gas that's already accumulated.

"If rapid emission reductions are initiated soon, it is still possible that at least a large fraction of required CO2 extraction can be achieved via relatively natural agricultural and forestry practices with other benefits," the authors wrote.

"On the other hand, if large fossil fuel emissions are allowed to continue, the scale and cost of industrial CO2 extraction, occurring in conjunction with a deteriorating climate with growing economic effects, may become unmanageable. Simply put, the burden placed on young people and future generations may become too heavy to bear."

They are SOOOO stupid. These cannot be real scientists saying this crap. Even cow farts are probably helpful for something. ;)

You got it.

CO2 is essential to life.
The only effect of elevated CO2 is more plant life.
Arid areas are greening up.

Maybe it will be enough just to remove three or four billion creatures which produce CO2.

Sounds like they would like to remove a few billion “co2 emitters” otherwise known as humans. I suspect they will get what they want soon enough in a nuclear exchange.

Dear God these people are stupid. They forgot the #1 contributor to Global Warming; water vapor! H20. Perhaps we should get rid of that too.

That’s the real goal.

6 billion people is a lot to control for people like George Soros.

Now if you whittle it down to say...500 million, then the elitists can rule over the unwashed masses like Neofeudal lords.

required CO2 extraction can be achieved via relatively natural agricultural and forestry practices with other benefits

If you read between the line, these folks are really quite transparent and truthful. The "other benefits" since the achievement of this CO2 extraction in a maximally beneficial way will require that agricultural and forestry practices be brought under the total control of the government.

Politicians are totally on board with the promise that ANYTHING that employs energy can be taxed "for the good of the planet". Energy consumption taxes provide a much wider base than "income" or "profits".

I actually developed, in my garage, a machine that is solar powered and LITERALLY absorbs CO2 out of the atmosphere. The cool thing is that it creates a chemical reaction that converts the CO2 to O2, and stores the carbon in thick filaments.

These filaments bind together to form a material so tough you can actually use it to build things from - even a house. Seriously, from CO2 to a home!

Also - and this is kinda fun - if you apply a flame to it, the result is a reverse chemical reaction that binds the carbon to O2 and makes CO2 while, at the same time, the chemical reaction creates signficant heat. IF you apply tight controls to the chemical reaction, you could even heat your home with this.

They are really low maintenance and you can make a LOT of them on your own.

I call them “Trees”.

“Killing all plant life”

Actually, you kill ALL LIFE.

Life is a cycle of plants EXPELLING oxygen - which humans need to survive; and humans expelling CO2 which the plants need.

THIS IS INSANITY THESE PEOPLE ARE PROPOSING.
