Muslim women are being beaten, killed, and sold into slavery in the Muslim Middle East. But these are small potatoes compared to the indignities fundamentalist Muslim women are suffering in America. In America, sharia-compliant women complain that Americans do not smile enough at them on airplanes.
This is why the New York Times has chosen to put a spotlight on the indignities hijab-covered women suffer every time they go to the airport.
They interviewed an expert on the subject, a lawyer for CAIR, the Council for American Islamic [State?] Relations. CAIR knows what it's talking about when it comes to Islam, given its intimate knowledge of groups like Hamas.
Roula Allouch, 36, is a Cincinnati lawyer and the chairwoman of the national board of directors of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, one of the nation's largest civil rights and advocacy groups for the American Muslim community.

Islam is a death cult. Why should anyone smile at practitioners of it?
The hijab is un-American. Didn’t the actual feminism, the kind that got women the right to vote and work, fight against so-called “modest dress?”
Americans see a hijab, they know they are looking at someone who hates them, their beliefs, and the American way of life.
So yeah, what’s to smile at?
But if you do smile you are likely to get ululated and have some Arab man threaten you for looking at his wife, sister or sister-wife.
Why smile at an inanimate object aka some one in a hijab.
How would someone even know a smile was warranted? It’s not as if you can see their own facial expression. If they actually were being smiled at, there would still be some offense found, finding them amusing or something.
Hijabs should include a binkie.
Maybe an SJW could give them one.

Walk up to them and say, “you don’t have to dress like that anymore, you live in a free country now” and walk away.
Yes, I don’t smile at you. Really, I pity you because you are in a garbage bag in 90 degree temperatures. Really, you are upset that Americans don’t smile at you? I try not to LAUGH MY A OFF seeing you in it.
I don’t smile at them because if I paid undue attention, they might get beheaded when they get home. I don’t need that sort of stress in my life.
Are they mistaking looks of disgust for not smiling? Just darn.
The New York Times is also the first to counsel against non-existant ‘backlash’ whenever a muslim kills 20 Americans.

Smile? I always jeer at them. Unless I’m at work as I can not offend the PC HR department.
And if a guy smiles at them they’d start yelling about sexual abuse or something.
It would be sexist of me to assume they are women. Since they haven’t expressed their preferred pronoun, and they haven’t adopted western attire, it’s just safer to be silent, but wary.
Fashion wise, the hijab is just so 7th Century. Thankfully I’ve never seen one of these sex slaves in person but my tagline would be my message to them.
