I live in Israel. I understand the lone soldier program. I admire those who move from the country of their birth to Israel and sign up to fight on its behalf and perhaps get permanently injured or killed in the process.
It doesn’t offend me, it just confuses me that have posted this. As I wrote, I have no idea what point you are trying to make. If you want to deflect an explanation with a sarcastic comment, that is your right, of course.

Just looking for some context, but I see you have provided some in subsequent posts. I was just giving a suggestion and an explanation as to why other might have been at a loss as to your point.

I’ve never heard of the restaurant, or the street. I live in Jerusalem and while I know Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, I’m not that familiar with Haifa.
I would expect that you will be very safe in Haifa. There are random terrorist attacks, but they are rare, and more often the problems come when an Israeli drives into an Arab town and the locals decide to try to kill him. In the cities there is quite a bit of interaction among all types, and it invariably is very smooth and friendly.
Israel used to be known for falafel, then for hummous. Both are delicious and widely available, and these days they are supplemented by quite a few gourmet restaurants serving a Mediterranean diet with a Middle Eastern tilt.
Breakfast in the bigger hotels is a real experience. There is no breakfast meat, and instead there is a generous buffet of lots of kinds of smoked fish, cheese, fruits, and artisanal breads. Coffee is big in Israel, and many people drink “Kaffe HaFookh”, which is Israeli cappucino.
I don’t know if you have free time. Two days is a pretty short time. I do know that about an hour outside of Haifa is an ancient town that is still being excavated. They recently found a synagogue in that town from the time of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The town is Migdal, and is believed to have been the home of Mary Magdalene. Jesus is believed to have preached in that synagogue, and now it is uncovered for the first time in 2000 years.
Also, Acco is pretty incredible. Within the last 20 years they have uncovered a compplete Crusader fortress that was buried by the Mamelukes. It is probably the best example of Crusader architecture in the world, representing the transation between Romanesque and Gothic.
In Haifa itself, I’m sure any sites that I could recommend are covered by your tour.
