According to energy magnate T. Boone Pickens, Obama has been a loser for the energy industry. And not just a loser, but “a complete loser”.

That he is not a fan of President Obama’s policies—including his energy policies--comes as no surprise. Pickens said in 2014 that Obama was “the worst president we’ve ever had”.

Yeah, we know that —and he’s out the door in a couple of months. Pickins needs to tie Hillary and Obozo’s tails together and declare we’d be getting more of the same —which is the platform she’s running on....er....walking on.....er...stumbling on......

Sometimes I wonder how much the Saudis had to deposit in Obama’s Swiss Bank account to get him to destroy the U.S. energy industry.

LOL. What an idiot. Obama has less than six months left in office. What’s the point of saying this now?

Maybe he wants people to forget he said we'd never see oil back in the 40s and that the govt should adopt his proposals for natural gas (guess who owns a lot of natural gas plays?).

This coming from the guy who bought up rights to the aquifer under Texas?

In Roberts County, TX., Pickens has purchased nearly 70,000 acres, as well as the water rights to personally remove up to half of the Ogallala aquifer of which he plans to sell back to nearby residents in order to enrich himself. Much of this aquifer extends into prime farm land located in America’s bread basket. One man, T. Boone Pickens, is acquiring the ability to turn the American heartland into a dustbowl. Pickens will soon have the political power to charge so much for water, that farmers will be forced to abandon their farms and ranches

I tend think people like Pickens say things to move the market in their favor. I don’t know if he really believed what he was saying, or he was trying to job the market. Anybody, who knows oil should know it’s volatile.

This is indeed the very same scumbag. The same scumbag who said oil would be back at $80 last year. The same scumbag who invested millions in natural gas and then lobbied the govt for massive regulation to force all is us to drive around on it.

The water rights con is particularly vile though. If I have a section of land and a majority of my neighbors sell their water and it is pumped to the metroplex, what do you think will happen to the water table beneath my land?

That’s why so many people sold to him. If the neighbors got $50k for their water then I had better get mine otherwise I’m losing it anyway.
