Breaking: The boardwalk area in Seaside Park was evacuated Saturday because of an explosion, authorities say. A lockdown was in place.
The boardwalk area in Seaside Park was evacuated - and a lockdown was in place - on Saturday because of an explosion as authorities searched well into the afternoon for any possible suspects.
No one was injured in the blast and no additional devices were found after a search at a charity 5K race that was expected to draw 3,000 people, many of them veterans of the armed services, authorities said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the 9:30 a.m. explosion that involved at least one pipe bomb in a trash can, according to Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino. The explosion happened just at the time a Semper Five 5K race event was supposed to begin, according to Porrino. The race had been delayed because of a suspicious backpack that was found in the area.
The race was canceled. Had the race proceeded as scheduled, authorities say, participants could have been injured by the blast.
“We are grateful that nobody was injured, but this is a serious act of violence against the people of New Jersey," Porrino said. "We will not rest until we find the person or persons responsible.”
Al Della Fave, a spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, said he believes the incident was deliberate that may have targeted veteran Marines participating in the event. But he declined to say whether he felt it was a terror attack.
Della Fave said there were multiple bombs wired together - perhaps two or three - but only one exploded....

After one of three PIPE BOMBS detonated in a trash can in Seaside Park, NJ this morning, SuperStation95 can now report that surveillance video from private properties in the area have given rise to a Person of Interest, who “appears to be a resettled refugee from the Middle East.”
As we reported earlier, a pipe bomb detonated along the route of a US Marine Corp Charity 5k Run, scheduled to take place this morning in Seaside Park. The start of the event was delayed by late arrivals and thankfully, that delay prevented runners from being in the area when the bomb went off. No one was injured or killed by the blast and, other than a trash can which was blown up, no property appears to have been damaged.
Two separate law enforcement sources, who spoke to SuperStation95 on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to make public statements, have revealed a troubling fact: Local surveillance cameras from private properties in the area of the blast, show “Person (s) of Middle Eastern Appearance” in the area before the blast took place. Law enforcement sources also say “the person(s) of interest may be recently-resettled “refugees” from the Middle East.”
Recent numbers reported in a June 27 Story by NJ.com show:
· In the past eight months, 2,805 Syrian refugees have been admitted into the United States, according to the U.S State Department.
· In New Jersey, 24 Syrian refugees have moved here so far this year. That’s a drop from the 75 Syrians accepted last year.
· Federal records indicate 18 refugees from Iraq have come to New Jersey this year, as well as 53 from Afghanistan.

The 80 refugees that have settled here in the past month account for more than 40 percent of the 194 to come to the state since Oct. 1, according to the report.
All but four of them live in Jersey City and Elizabeth.
State Department data shows 24 refugees arrived from Oct. 1 to March 31 and another 90 between April 1 and June 30, the report said. Nationwide, 7,762 Syrians have come to the country since October.
. . . . and suddenly, we have pipe bombs exploding at Military-related charity events. Gee, what a coincidence.
How nice that American veterans, living in America, can’t have a charity race without the threat of being blown up by Obama’s foreign born brothers in arms.
Well, the powers that be had to do SOMETHING to get Trump off the headlines.
If this is true, note that the Administration is upping the quota for Syrian refugees (almost none are the persecuted Christians) to 85,000 for the year and Mrs. Clinton wants to raise the quota. THIS is a campaign issue; Thank God for Trump since not a single congressional Republican in the “leadership” will say squat about it.

The police should be able to have this solved before evening prayers. As less than 50 ‘refugees’ were Christian, they should be easy to find. After all, muhamedanism is a religion of peace, so the culprits could not have been moslem, leaving only fifty immigrants to check in the whole country.
