Please advise. How all of a sudden this became a big issue again? I mean, this issue literally came out of nowhere. In fact, I didn't hear anything about it until Trump's press conference today.
Was it another Clinton distraction, that ended up failing miserably?
Because Hillary wants it that way, obviously, and her water-carriers are dutifully carrying her water...

As others have indicated, Trump is making serious in-roads into the African American voter block. Hillary wanted to fight back and decided that Obama was asked to produce a birth certificate just because he is black. Therefore Trump is racist, therefore this old issue needed to be resurrected.
For the record:
The Dems questioned Eisenhower’s birth.
The Dems questioned McCain’s birth
The Republicans (esp. Trump) questioned Cruz’s birth
But questioning Obama???? It must be all about the skin color!
For the following reasons:
- sure up base of Obama voters from 2008, 2012.
- try to get more black support by bring up Trump’s “racist” questioning of Obama’s birthplace.
- get the media talking about that rather than Hillary’s health.

Barack Obama was campaigning the other day in Philadelphia, for heaven's sake. That's like Donald Trump campaigning in a closed-down coal mine in West Virginia. If the Democrats need to send their jug-eared exchange student into one of the most heavily Democratic places in the nation -- in a state that they've won handily for years -- then they are in serious trouble.
Someone from the Washington post brought the issue up with Trump in an interview. Trump lifted the blockade on WP and a few other news org, I think last week.
Every day Hitlery and her minions can dig up something like this, they divert the media and Trump away from her. News days like today was one less day for Trump.

Hillary is losing badly. I figured the DNC Media would attempt to use this in October to take Trump off message. But since dumb Hellary is now in a free fall they panicked. We all know Obama is a fake. Trump could revisit this issue in the future when it is more advantageous.
