Feminism has created a whole generation of women who have literally been brainwashed by Hollywood, leftist K-12 teachers and card carrying communist instructors who lecture at Women’s Studies classes in the nation’s universities. Many American women now believe they are physical equals of men, no matter what history and science tells them. It is a mindset that teeters on delusion.

I couldn't have said it better. I had an argument last week with one of my adult daughters. All because I told my granddaughter to be selective in what she pursues and does when she grows up. My daughter argued that her child can be whatever she wants to be. I said that is being unrealistic, and the facts say otherwise. That she's cruising for a bruising if she doesn't know her limitations. I backed away from the argument, saying facts are facts and females can be illogical (that didn't go over well).

Anyway, I've had similar conversations with women in the past, for instance thinking they could defend themselves in a one-on-one fight against a male attacker, despite the woman being 5 foot and 100 pounds (without any martial arts training) going up against a 6 foot and 250 pounds male. Logic dictates otherwise, unless the female has been specially trained. These were female friends who were mild mannered without any fighting skills at all. Women have been brainwashed, and movies reinforce that delusion. I know for a fact that women don't have comparable upper body strength equivalent to that of a man, mostly based on moving furniture and equipment. Maybe I sound chauvinistic, but I just don't want to see women get hurt unnecessarily.

I see it all the time as a golfer. Young women strut around like they’re the second coming of Ben Hogan. Some are okay at the sport, many aren’t good. On the other side, many young guys seem to have no muscular strength and guys 50 plus can crush a ball a lot farther.

I'll admit that there are exceptions to a rule. But the fact is that on average, males are stronger then females when it comes to muscles. In my younger days at work I used to play baseball on department teams. There were some women who could knock the ball out of the park farther and higher than the guys. Amazon ladies do exist! Us guys would just gawk in amusement as those ladies ran the bases for their home runs. But they are the exception, not the rule. Same goes for guys; there are a lot of weakling young guys but there are also a lot of tough strong guys who balance out the stats. Being over 50 and strong is impressive, as many people let themselves go as they age.

A top general said that "if the standards are so high that a female can't pass it then the service is going to have to justify why the standard is that high". So yes standards will be lowered all claims to the contrary are lies.

Also once standards are lowered so that Little Suzzie can qualify for any unit that Little Johnny can qualify for it will be time to make the move to have 18 year old girls register for the draft. And believe me any nation that would draft it's young women into combat is not a nation worth fighting for.

DITTO!!! I've got one granddaughter. She's a H.S. senior this year. She's a perfect little lady and not a phonyass, baseball hat wearing "tomboy". She has no business being in the military.

This effort to integrate women into combat is IMHO really an effort to make the nation unwilling to go to war and unable to win should it be forced into a war. Anyone pushing the idea that woman should be allowed into combat arms is an enemy of the USA. That goes for those that support open homosexuals in our military too.
