Good for the old ladies. Some people realize the fate of the nation is more important than irrelevant things like Trump’s tone or lack of political correctness.
Put it this way:
You have a tumor in your brain; if it’s not removed, you’ll die.
Now, you have two choices of doctor that can do the surgery...one that’s a great guy, everyone loves him, great bedside manner. But you’ve heard he’s a so-so surgeon, even with routine surgeries.
Or you can use this other surgeon: guy has done hundreds of this type procedure very successfully and is highly recommended. But he’s arrogant and has a horrible bedside manner.
Which one would you pick to save your life?
This cracks me up because I literally can picture Jake listening to this, thinking with glee that the media hysteria over whatever comments they were discussing has extended to these women, thinking they must be voting for Hillary, and then his bubble being burst when they announce they are still voting for Trump. It clearly bothered him so much he had to Tweet about it! Hahaha!
Jake is now recuperating in a safe space. :-)
Jake ought to take seven days off with two camera guys and just travel the US...cafes, cattle ranches, shrimp fishermen, funeral home directors, etc....and just get a dose of regular America. It doesn’t matter if you talk to Republicans or Democrats....probably over sixty-percent of the nation is fed up and want both parties fired. Trump is the only one in fifty years capable of doing that.
Is your daughter between the ages of 18-28? She could be in that rumspringen period. Let her be. She should come back. My oldest son gives me a lot of the libs’ arguments to play with, but he is getting more thoughtful and he seems to take in what I am saying (about the media, the oligarchy, how their push against Trump being out of fear of losing their gravy train, their unfettered power). You did nothing wrong. They have to be liberal around 20. At least he loves discussing politics with me and he tells me the news of the day sometimes. Hang in there!

I call her a troll. The true opponent in this election cycle is the Media and Party Establishments. Hillary is just a troll for those 2 groups.

I hear that same conversation everywhere I go. Trump is a moron for keeping this election in doubt or close. He should be at least 15 points ahead but he keeps stepping on his tongue. Even the old ladies agree on that.
