I think it was great

Took the media attention back to him and all the fraudulently deleted emails during their propaganda bash. What is she hiding?

It also re-energized his supporters.

Yeah, the OP (Joe Biden?) made a mistake by not saying what the other guy said was not a mistake.

It was a mistake for Bernie to Endorse Hillary?

It was a mistake for Obama to endorse Hillary?

It was a mistake for Clinton to endorse Hillary?

OP needs to learn how to provide specifics and not require us to read between the lines !

Rush who has not been his biggest supporter called it brilliant. It was. You need to go back to the threads yesterday and rethink your position.

I saw it live too and thought it was funny.

I’m not even a Trump fan. I’m just anti-Hillary.

Are you discussing Bill’s speech? If so I am in complete agreement. If on the other hand you are foolishly misrepresenting Trump, you did not listen to him at all.

Trump knew exactly what he was doing. Even Kranky Krauthammer thought it was brilliant.

First, it puts Hillary and the DNC in panic mode ("National Security! National Security! HALP") and second it dominates another news cycle for Trump-Pence.

Took the conversation away from the DNC convention and Bill’s speech the night before. The media would have been going gaga over Bill’s speech and how great Hillary’s credentials are all day/evening. Instead they spent a lot of time trashing Trump.

That’s how he won the primaries. He sucked out opponent’s air time and it worked even if it was replaced by the media attacking him. He’s set up the voters to think the media is unfair to him whether or not the are on any topic. So he can get away with replacing a positive segment on his opponent with a negative segment on him and voters will side with him against the media.

Classic Trump. It was BRILLIANT!

Trump has done this since day one. He manipulates the media that hates him.

They are so stupid, he keeps playing them like a Stradivarius.

All for FREE! Talk about living rent free in their heads....... He lives rent free in all of their various types of media.

This was political genius by Trump the non-politician, AGAIN!

You sir are 100% WRONG.

As you've noted in the past, Trump plays 3-D chess.

Why are you skeered about it now?

Sorry, but you are wrong. Before Trump made his joking remarks about asking the Russians to help us discover what was in Hillary's 33,000 deleted emails, the Dems had already made it a talking point.

On the Sunday shows, Robbie Mook was the first to say that the Russians had hacked the DNC. The idea was to distract from the substance of the emails and make it into a case of spying by the Russians.

In the morning on the day of Trump's joking remarks and before he made them, Obama appeared on the Today show to say that the Russians were the ones who hacked the DNC and were interfering in our elections,

Trump could ignore these inane remarks, which were picked up and pushed by the MSM or he could address the issue head on. He did the latter to his political advantage. He sucked some air out of the Dem convention and again placed Hillary's email scandal front and center. If the Russians had hacked the DNC server, they sure as hell could hack Hillary's server, which was even less protected. And if the deleted emails were just about yoga lessons and Chelsea's wedding plans, why would it matter if the Russians divulged what was in the the 33,000 deleted emails? Of course, it would still matter because the ones Hillary turned over contained thousands of classified information, some TS and above.

Trump is breaking the mold and campaigning while the opposition's convention is going on. Trump clearly understands the media and how to use it. Trump received a bounce from his convention and he is trying to solidify it and reduce Hillary's bounce.

Let's see what Trump does today.

All he needs to do is print up a small sign saying / sarc, and hold it up whenever he says anything controversial.

People would get a laugh out of it, and it would shoot down all this silliness.

Saying ing he hope they find Hillary’s deleted emails is hardly a mistake

By definition if they’re already deleted he’s not soliciting them to hack them..(they would have already had them done so in the past) in a call if they have them release them.

The same 30000 email had been illegally delete it because they had been subpoenaed as evidence... so by treaty signed into law by Bill Clinton the Russians are required the help and provide evidence in any legal prosecution in the United States.

The reason this 30000 emails were requested for evidence was to see if Hillary will conducting government business and storing it secure classifieds private server.

Hillery contention was the 30,000 emails she deleted were privite and of no National Security interest

So if the Russians did steal them in the past then...

Being a private server not secure government server it wasn’t espionage

And if Hillary is contention is correct that they were simply private email with National Security interests then there’s no national security threat because the Russians releasing if they stole them in the past

So by definition Trump is not asking the Russians a government server and obtain classified information

He asking the Russians if then have them from a past hack of Hillary’s illegal private server ....to release them as required by treaty, to show that they were in fact simply non security emails as Hillary contended under oath to justify and withholding and deleting evidence in a criminal prosecution of her

See the problem I have with you hand wringer is you’re always afraid to fight cuz you’re afraid to take a few hits in the fight

Trump reminds us of the ultimate intelligent fly fisher, who knows the waters and his target. He casts the attractor fly, moves it around their water and makes them very angry. They lose control and strike his fly in anger.

Then, he sets the hook and brings them in with the fly hooked in their gaping/stupid lips in full view of the tv cameras.

After landing them for the world to see them with his hook in their gaping mouth, he lets them go! Think of Jeb during the primaries.

He does this without paying a nickel for tv ads.
