We’re the kind of county that responds to the slaughter of five innocent cops with nationwide anti-police protests.
And then we bitch about the way the police respond to those protests.
We don’t like it when they wear riot gear. We don’t like it when they use pepper spray. We shout about being disrespected. We call them Nazis and chant “officer down” and that we need more “dead cops.”
All while video recording them in the hopes that one of them will say or do anything that can be turned into the next national controversy.
Welcome to Obama’s America.
Just in time to rile up the Democrat base for the presidential election, we’ve decided that the biggest issue facing America is the police. Turns out some people don’t believe they’re getting their ass kissed just the way they like and they’re going to do something about it.
Turns out, according to the evening news, all the cops are racists and the criminal justice system is rigged and laws are oppressive and it’s the damn white people who are to blame.
Turns out, according to the president, that the cops and the courts and the prisons are all part of a racist legacy of America’s evil past, purposely holding black people back. Then he wondered if America would ever have the courage to do anything about it. Then, four hours later, some guy started butchering cops in Dallas.
Pure coincidence, the White House spokesman said.
The gunman in Dallas said he did it because he hated white people and wanted to kill white people, especially white people who are cops. That, of course, led the Justice Department to say there was no way to know the motive of the Dallas gunman, though the president later said he did it because he was “mentally unstable.”
Turns out when the president and the pastors and the protesters say, “Cops suck,” and then a murderer says, “Cops suck,” it’s just weird happenstance and there is no connection whatsoever.
And if you think there is, you’re a racist.
Turns out that if you’re the president or the attorney general or the governor and you defame the police at every opportunity -- telling people that the cops and the courts are their enslavers and oppressors -- that you can deny any responsibility whatsoever when police deaths are up 44% so far this year.
Turns out, according to the evening news, the guy’s problem wasn’t his motivation, it was his tactics. It’s OK to hate the cops, you just can’t shoot a lot of them. Too often. On TV.
So I have a plan.
In order to sort out law enforcement in America, let’s have the cops take the rest of the summer off. And then, those of us who are still alive in the fall can have a national discussion on law enforcement.
American law enforcement is in the interesting position of being spit on from the front and the back. The wolves in their face spit on them, and we sheep behind them spit on them as well.
We have made common cause with the disorder and chaos that threaten the very nature of American society. We have abandoned and betrayed the men and women who comprise the “thin blue line” between civilization and savagery.
And we are so heartless and self-absorbed as to have had a national weekend of disruption and anti-police protest as the very bodies of slaughtered policemen lie in state awaiting burial. The government lowered the flag, and the nation raised the finger.
And the “news” went right along with it.
The story was not that thugs were closing down streets, but that cops dared to wear helmets and carry batons.
We praised people who shut down avenues and interstates, and talked about their rights and their mayhem as if they were noble things. It was part of our ongoing fairy tale that this rot is praiseworthy.
We know and honor the name of an ex-con with an illegal gun who fought with police outside a Baton Rouge convenience store, but damned if we can quite remember the name of a single butchered Dallas cop.
And when we talk about Dallas now, it is to bitch about the cops using a robot to deliver a bomb, instead of forcing a few more cops to go in and be shot up taking down the guy with the black-power fist in the air.
In a nation where freedom is defined and defended by law, we have abandoned rule of law in the highest levels of our government, and now we are abandoning it in our streets.
The progressives have attacked the notion of law, and now they attack the enforcers of law.
And we are so enslaved by political correctness that we join in the process of our own destruction, cheering the forces of social annihilation and attacking the protectors of civil society.
So think on this: What happens when the cops aren’t there to hold back the marchers and what they represent?
What happens when the cops aren’t there to protect you and your family?
How long do you think you would last?

The world is not a fair place. We had come such a long way. The Obamas had a great opportunity to lift up America and that community but they chose ravel rouse instead(being very polite for my Freepers sake XO)
There is nothing rational, dignified or civilized in the black response to the Dallas shooting. Instead we see hatred, taunting and violence. Where have our leaders gone?
Police enforce the orders of the Rulers. They are not there to protect you or your family - unless the Rulers want them to do so.
Our current regime does not want them to do so.
The political elites are dominated by narcissistic sociopaths who are using violent Blacks, Muslims, and other minority groups to subjugate the majority of the population. They want police that will obey orders. Those orders include granting exemptions from law enforcement when "shock troops" in the favored minorities commit various crimes. As long as the targets of the criminals are political opponents, the police will be instructed to stand down. We have seen this repeatedly in the last year.
No efforts at "police reform" are going to improve the behavior of Law Enforcement Officers under such conditions.
A wholesale replacement of political authorities will be required.

For quite a while we’ve been focused on the problem of Muslim immigrants not assimilating into our culture. Meanwhile, a portion of our life long culture, the African American community, is going out of their way to “unassimilated”. (if that’s a real word).
