Thoughts on polls vs. outcomes

These undecided voters are really just uneasy about voting for Trump. They are closer to his orbit than Crooked Hillary's, but they're sensitive about bumpy rides. Some times they'll drift closer, sometimes get cold feet, then come back again, etc. Every pressure imaginable is pushing them away 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And despite that, they aren't being converted into higher numbers for Hillary. Her numbers are fairly flat, while Trump's numbers will rise and fall periodically, as his sensitive voters vacillate about joining the bumpy ride.

Ultimately, then, most of these undecideds will vote Trump.

I largely agree with this analysis. A similar dynamic happened in 1980, people were fed up with Carter, but had serious qualms about Reagan, who made some gaffes on the campaign trail. We all know how that turned out.

Reagan wasn’t despised by large percentages of Americans though.

And, they weren’t consumed with jealousy as they are with Trump.

Your parroting such inaccurate tripe is informative. Even at this advanced stage, Cruz fanboys rarely seem to miss an opportunity to gratuitously disparage the presumptive nominee.

The assertion that Donald Trump is "despised by large percentages of Americans" smacks of the wishful thinking we constantly hear from the Media and Establishment (but I repeat myself).

In any event, Hillary isn't merely incompetent like Jimmy Carter: she's an outright crook.

That fact, combined with Donald Trump's policy positions (which, on balance, are the most conservative we've seen in any GOP nominee since Reagan) should be sufficient to sway the remaining bitter Ted Cruz torch carriers, as well as most of the independent electorate.

Voter enthusiasm will be a huge factor in this election. Thus, it serves no constructive purpose to flippantly repeat such questionable claims about Trump, which can only damage morale and suppress turnout.

Vote Trump!

“Vote Trump!”

I am, note my tagline. But I’m not gonna pretend everything is bright and sunny just because you like him so much that you refuse to believe that everyone doesn’t.

We were seeing the same crap reported about Trump with women, but that, too, has proven to be mostly wishful thinking on the part of Trump-haters.

You may be reluctantly voting for Donald Trump out of necessity, but you can't hide your personal dislike for the man. Parroting dubious Establishment memes makes it pretty obvious.

Vote Trump!

Cruz, Romney and Ryan have done tremendous damage to Trump. I pray he can overcome that, most of what you hear the people not voting Trump say is parroting those three. If they said it, it must be true type thing.

I do really hate those three people.

I recall 1980 like it was yesterday.

I recall numerous discussions, and yes even loud arguments regards Reagan v carter, (spit)

The way the media portrayed it, Reagan was EEEEvil, finger on the button unpredictable bozo chimp actor playing supporting actor to a chimp, 15-20 points behind, how dare the dirtbag even soil the stage on which Carter stood and radiated brilliance.

Yet,

he landed the largest landslide, and I mean real landslide, not a few point swing that the current media calls one, but to the stops on either side of the swing, the likes of which seared their collective asses to the ileum.

Donald J Trump is your candidate, unless you support Hillary, so cut the crap and start working to defeat the bitch.

I’m not trying to. I don’t trust him any more than Romney or McCain, whom I also voted for. If you want him to win you shouldn’t attack those us that will do our duty because we might occasionally dare to criticize him or fail to see his prospects as rosy.

Criticize him? Talking about his policies is "criticizing".

Regurgitating dubious, wishful Media/Establishment/GOPe claims doesn't rise to the level of criticism; it's just clumsy propaganda.

Vote Trump!
