I don't mind anyone criticizing South Africa Today's work but I was only 19 years old when I left South Africa for a better future. I had to depend on myself because for a white South African today it's hell. SA is rapidly heading towards Rodesia/Zimbabwe I am sure you all as Americans are aware of what happened there...
We are honored to be accepted on this Forum so far because what we do is definitely a cry for help. We are all the same God fearing Christians like most Americans but we are forgotten in Africa behind false media and colourful false pictures painted by media.
Even if we are not allowed to post here further, we thank each and every American who supports the forgotten white minority (about 8% of the SA population)in South Africa.
What we shared so far, is only the tip of the iceberg.

Thanks for the background on South Africa Today. I try to keep an eye out for news on SA. SAT looks like a great site. I think I'll be posting some articles from there in the future, if you don't mind me helping out a little.
I really feel for what you ex-pats and those still hanging on in SA have endured thanks to the Communist takeover of South Africa. That's what they are.

I've heard FR called a "big searchable news database." I encourage people to use the "keyword" feature when they post articles so that we can, when needed, look up articles using keywords such as: anc, apartheid, south africa, rand, africa, etc
By the way, when I'm busy and run across what I think is a particularly interesting article that I think my fellow Freepers would also find informative, I will post it without trying to comment on the article. I find it more of a learning experience to read others' comments than to to interject my 2 cents worth of info. Finally let me apologize for some of my Freeper family for their rude reception they gave you.

Where do you think all the articles that get posted here come from? Is FR supposed to be some kind of "vanity" site? I thought that was generally what comments were for, for our opinions, observations, etc.
And if I'm reading and posting an article from someone else, somehow it only seems fair that they get a click.
I guess I'm just not as trusting as some of my fellow FRiends. How, for example, do you know whether someone has posted the entire article or maybe even added to or modified the article unless you actually go there. What about pictures or videos?
Are you familiar with "Trust, but verify?"

Well guess what? I don't know or care about SAT2014 financial interest in the website, but I would surmise that SAT2014 definitely has a personal interest in the posted article since he's focused on the destruction of his country by Communists and the crimes, the rapes, robberies and murders of his fellow South Africans.
So what can he do? He's trying to let the rest of world know what is happening to SA and hoping and praying that the insanity will stop. Apparently a big mistake coming here.

Hey I have an idea. Why don't you and HG contact Jim Rob and suggest that no excerpted articles be allowed to be posted on FR. Only fully posted articles would be permitted. That should solve the problem. Maybe you and HG could fully vet any new members to make sure they have no "personal or financial" interest any websites that may be the posted material source.
I think we probably need some new terminology to help you and HG with this horrible problem of posters possibly being blog pimps.
I have now been so thoroughly educated in the art and science of blog pimping I think I am starting to understand.
So if someone posts an entire article from another website to ensure that no one has to leave FR to read the article, thereby denying them a few "valuable" and much sought after clicks, then I guess that would make them a "blog whore." Wouldn't it?
