While kinda sorta stumbling into an understanding of why Trump won the nomination.
I am sure every Donald Trump supporter in this nation lies awake at night wondering, “What does Jeb Bush think of me? He doesn’t think I’m an idiot, does he? Because I don’t think I could handle that!”
Rest easy, sweet pups. I have wonderful news for you. No, Jeb does not think you’re a bunch of idiots. In his classic low-energy way, Jeb! has given you all absolution for any hint of idiocy:

I still get annoyed when people say his supporters are “afraid”. Fear is the last thing on my list for reasons I support Trump and have since the beginning.

The media and mainstream politicians continue to fail to understand Trump’s appeal.
The open borders lobby has always tried to paint our anger at the lack of enforcement as fear.
They try to portray our desire to keep the rule of law and our country as being afraid of fraudulently documented foreigners colonizing our country and killing our fellow citizens. I’m not afraid, I am righteously TICKED OFF!
Our political leaders have sold us out.

I honestly believe Trump never intended to really run. I think it was going to be like every other time..until he made the infamous immigration comment.
Then , as things snowballed, he saw he could win..and he has gone into it full blast.
Plus, somewhere deep in Trump Tower some people are thinking “legacy” and how he might be able to beat the Kennedy and the Bush clans. Make no mistake, those children are being groomed for future office right now.
