Agree. It is a good question as to whether the new voters being brought into the republican party will overcome the number of illegals criminals and fraud the dems will bring to the table.

Everyone here (almost) wanted Romney, once he got the nomination, to beat Obama. Not many here supported his getting the nomination. IIRC, most here were for Newt, a lot for Santorum.
Obama and Hillary are not comparable, either. Unpopular as he may be here, in ‘07 and thru ‘12 he was enormously popular, well liked if not adored. Hillary enjoys no such adulation.
The “IT” guy this year is Trump. They either love him or hate him, some are growing to accept him. But he draws them in. Romney never raised the public to that level of enthusiasm.
