Can we get back all the freepers we lost and present a united stand. FR is a force to be reckoned with. I wish a lot that left came back. We lost a lot of old timers. I heard some were banned and others just left. I hope if they do decide they want to come back Jim will give them another chance after this terrible Primary season.

I think all but the most obnoxious ones were just given an extended time out until the nominee was evident.

I tried not to needle them because many of them I respected and enjoyed reading their comments on other topics.

It helps that we are finally getting back to threads that aren’t political. They were getting buried in all of the Primary threads.

IIRC, several are "on vacation" from Free Republic until after the general election. All were warned that #Never Trump would result in a zot or an extended vacation.

Jim is very kind, tolerant and gracious, but he made it clear that we can't have Members working against FR's purpose and goals.

#NeverTrump grubs, mites and lice who only want to come back in order to play nasty, passive-aggressive little games and tear down our candidate can (and should, IMHO) remain banished to the outer darkness.

Those genuinely willing to work alongside the rest of us towards defeating the Butcheress of Benghazi, on the other hand, I'd be the very first to welcome back, and gladly.

I never left, I supported Cruz until the end, but now I will support Trump some Cruzers will not jump on board but that is their prerogative and I think it is a mistake.

I went over to one site where a lot of them went. Introduced myself and said I hoped for peace between the factions and noted that I’m Canadian, living in Canada (Ted’s birthplace!), so have no “official” dog in the hunt.

I was greeted with suspicion, to say the least, and someone even speculated I was an FR plant!

Obviously they don’t know the only plants I can do are face plants!

There’s so much hate and bad feeling over there I’m not sure those folks will come back and I’m not sure they should. It’s a damn shame. They sure seem to have a hate on for FR and JR. Can’t believe the name calling! They sound like liberals.

I think some of them left for their own/alternate site(s). Someone here saw the site(s) and there are not nice things being said about FR, the boss and many FReepers. Maybe it’s best for them to stew and chill out, over there, for a while.
