My daughter Katherine suffered several seizures and is in the hospital. The MRI does not look good. We are waiting for the diagnosis.
I am asking for your prayers. St. Catherine of Sienna is the patron saint.

O Jesus,
I am grateful for
your mercy and compassion.
You healed all those
that approached you in faith.
In your suffering and death,
you redeemed our infirmities:
Mine, my loved one's,
and those of the human race.
We join our suffering to yours
, and ask for your healing mercy on Katherine.
Give her the strength and courage
to overcome all adversities. Amen.

May the HOLY SPIRIT surge through Kate’s body, renewing every cell, every nerve, every blood vessel.

Today’s rosary and ever rosary since you first posted about Kate’s medical problems was for Kate and some others and that will continue until she is out of the woods. God bless her and you and all of your loved ones and provide Kate with speedy and complete healing.

I missed the ping, if I’m on a ping list, but decided to check the thread for an update and there it was. That’s positive news for you and Kate, so we know you and she are relieved. Now on with the battle until she is fully cured. We pray each day for you, Kate, and your family as well as her medical team. God bless you all.

We got as close to a diagnosis as we are likely to ever get, and it is good news. Kate has ADEM, (http://www.nationalmssociety.org/), Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis. Unlike MS, her condition is expected to gradually improve and the brain scans show considerable improvement already. She is in good spirits, works and goes camping.
She will remain under observation as her anti-seizure medication is tapered off.
Lord Jesus Christ, Thank Thee for the gift of healing that my daughter received, and, above all, for Thy grace that shapes our souls through illness as well as through good health. May it lead us to salvation.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
