Cruz cheerleaders grabbing at straws now deconstruct California poll two months away
The Coach's Team ^ | 4/18/16 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

The holdouts at Fort Cruz are beginning to understand the grave situation their candidate is in. The Colorado Disaster has taken its toll on Ted Cruz and it is showing in all of the new polls.

In New York, Cruz’s numbers show he will be mathematically eliminated from any chance of reaching the 1,237 delegates that would give him the nomination in Cleveland this summer. On top of that, given his very poor showing so far, Cruz is on the brink of finishing 3rd behind John Kasich who has already been mathematically eliminated himself.

In Pennsylvania, Cruz is fading and is way behind. In Maryland and Rhode Island he is fading, as he is in Connecticut.

In the latest Reuters National poll Trump is back up to a comfortable lead, watching his numbers go up 5.8% and Cruz’s numbers go down 5.5% meaning Trump picked up those who left Cruz.

So where do the Cruz holdouts turn for solace? Redstate.com, an unabashed Cruz cheerleading site, has decided the near term news for Cruz is so bleak it has focused on a YouGov poll of California’s Republican primary seven weeks away.

In deconstructing YouGov.com’s poll showing Cruz imploding to Trump 49/31, they point out that Yougov is almost always wrong. Fair enough.

Nevertheless, the inescapable problem with the Redstate argument is...

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP. But, he is great debater!

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN

(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

The Cubanadian and the Cruzloyalists here will get more shrill as his chances disappear.

His only hope is that the Cheap Labor Express can rig the nomination at the convention for him.

Cruz doesn’t win primaries. Only caucuses manipulated by party bosses and voterless states. Trump wins the srates that are really going to matter. Cruz lost the south and he is about to lose the entire northeast. I don’t care how good his ground game is. He was rejected in the bible belt for heaven’s sake. Both he and kasich have no path to the nomination. This is supposed to be a process to elect a nominee. Yet it’s become nothing more than a game to stop the frontrunner. The whole process stinks.

Cruz continues to play his CO and Wyoming wins wrong. When he is asked about the wins he starts in on Donald complaining about losing. The optics are horrible for him. Every time he slams Donald as being a whiner, liberal, blah, blah , blah he is slamming the people that support Trump. The same goes for Trump when he slams Cruz about ‘lyin” and stealing elections.
Then we have the fool that is in charge of the RNC or other RNC elites taking jabs at Trump which does nothing but piss Trump supporters off. I am afraid Trump is going to go third party and we might as well bend over. The republicans will lose the White House, the Senate and Maybe the house. Yikes!

When the history of the 2016 campaign is written, CO will be noted as the state where Cruz lost the nomination.

There is a big difference between Checkers and Chess. Trump insists on playing by Checkers rules, the game is Chess. Happy, Happy, Happy.

The lie that is bugging me today is the claim that the ‘natural born’ Canadian is ‘constitutionally consistent’... IF Cruz is called eligible then so are Obama and lying Ryan's Syrian refugees. Stupid people.

So people who support Cruz are holdouts?

They make the Japanese soldiers who were holed up on Pacific islands into the 1970s look flighty and tempermental.
