I had one great grandfather who owned slaves and fought for the Confederacy. The other great grandfather fought with the Union in the Army of the Potomac. Both survived the war. I figure one cancels the other if we are doing this based on ancestry.
Haven’t they had enough reparations, already? I’d say millions of white men and women working an extra day a week to pay for freebies is way more than enough. The taxes Americans have been paying the last 7 years have been astronomical despite the taqiyyan liar’s claims that he lowered them. Talked to one guy who did pretty good that told me he paid over $100,000 in taxes in 5 years time. Sorry but that sounds pretty damn high to me...

What about all the Latinos in this country? They had nothing to do with slavery. Do they have to pay? What about all the Asians and other assorted immigrants who have arrived here in recent decades???
They also conveniently forget the wite slavery that existed here as well. Particularly the irish.
Why would young people want to pay more than there parents already have? We do get credit for welfare and free houses and stuff since 1968 don’t we? Obama phone? This needs to stop anyway. Been long enough to get them on their feet?

They have and continue to get, reparations daily. And they are totally ungrateful for it and believe they are entitled to it.
The slaves deserved an apology and more but you can’t apologize to people who are dead. Their “descendants” are also descendants of other non-slave families and even other races and have never felt the touch of a whip but live quite well and if not is usually their own doing.

What’s a slave? Point one out to me. I don’t see any. Have never seen one. Never owned one either. Never known anyone who’s ever owned one or been one or their grandparents been one. So don’t demand I pay for something I’ve never bought or had any intention of buying.
