The Ted Cruz sex scandal story just took another twist, with Cruz blaming Donald Trump for allegedly planting the story that ran last week and serious doubts arising over whether any of it is actually true.
The National Enquirer story accused Cruz of cheating on his wife, Heidi, with as many as five mistresses. The women were not named in the story but were quickly identified through their blurred out pictures and details of the alleged affairs.
Cruz immediately denounced the story as untrue — as have some of the women identified as his mistresses — and now Cruz is going on the offensive against Donald Trump. Cruz has accused Trump of planting the story, noting that the only named source in the story is a former aide to Donald Trump
CNN recounted Cruz’s accusations.
“Cruz suggested that Roger Stone, a former aide to Trump, and David Pecker, CEO of the National Enquirer’s parent company, had been in cahoots, pushing an item he has repeatedly denied and denounced as ‘garbage.'”
“‘The story, on its face, quoted one person on the record: Roger Stone,’ Cruz said during a CNN town hall event in Wisconsin. ‘Roger Stone has been Donald Trump’s chief political adviser. He planned and ran his presidential campaign and he’s been his hatchet man — he’s spent 40 years as a hatchet man. But not only that, the head of the National Enquirer, a guy named David Pecker, is good friends with Donald Trump.'”
There are serious doubts being raised about the Ted Cruz sex scandal story, with several media outlets poking holes in the Enquirer’s story...

I believe the real story is a Thad Cochran or David Cameron hazing type incidents which is why Cruz is confused about answering the questions.
If Trump is behind it, you think he would indict his OWN national spokesperson into the story and destroy her credibility when talking about him? Use some common sense, he wouldn’t include Pierson into the story

So Trump “plants” a story implicating his own spokesperson....
Yeah, right.
Frankly I have no issues with Cruz....especially since his contenders...Trump and Hillary have no room themselves to point fingers....but it is the standard for Demorats to use sexual issues against candidates so I'm not surprised.
As I've stated...I expected all kinds of of ‘stuff’ in this election...none of which will deter my support of Cruz if it departs from ‘the issues’...... Especially if it surrounds sexual scandals. Most of it's tabloid junk to begin with and will surely be blown out of proportion otherwise.

Trump did not plant the story. It’s not his style.
Let’s have Cruz win the nomination and see what Hillary does with the story.
I wish I had copied the line, but, someone interviewed a reporter with NE and asked him if there was another shoe to drop on Cruz, and he said : “we always have another shoe to drop.” So, stay tuned.
Ted needs to say nothing more then he already has. It’s just nonsense to keep making this an issue. If at any time the man was unfaithful to Heidi then that’s their business and doesn’t belong being used as cannon fodder. Obviously they worked through it if true and that’s plenty good enough for me....no matter if or what happened it’s history and they moved on from there.
Roger Stone did not start this and he is not part of Trump’s campaign. Is he kidding?
Ted is a compulsive liar, and many are starting to see it. Not enough, unforgettably.
