FULL Disclosure: I'm not a Cruz supporter, but I hate this kind of sleaze and I'm hoping that we can put this to rest before it gets submitted 500 times.
The entire article is based off of the threat from a hoax "Anonymous" account on Twitter, which later turned out to be a RickRoll (all related tweets have since been deleted). I am pretty sure the "details" are actually lifted from replies to the original tweet, LOL. Since they're deleted, I can't be sure. Point being, it was all a hoax and there's nothing there at all, and that's what the article is based off of.
Anyway, just wanted to put it out there that it's typical NE trash, not one of their once-per-decade real bombshells.

Everyone on FR is thinking of this story but its being hidden. I had to use the search bar to find it, Ridiculous.

This person also said that Trump’s campaign was a source for the article: “His campaign provided information that was used,” he explained. A Trump friend said that in the days leading up to the article’s publication Trump was telling people that Carson “had a lot of medical malpractice suits” and “almost killed a guy.”
Trump’s spokesperson, Hope Hicks, told me “there’s absolutely no truth” to the claim Trump was behind the article. When I asked the Enquirer for comment, Pecker said it was “utterly false” that the Trump campaign was their source. “

I don’t believe this for 3 reasons:
1. Breitbart had the story and sat on it.
2. Anonymous was talking about the story.
3. If Trump had this story, he would have put it out before Idaho and Utah—or even the Bible belt states where it would have helped.
OH but Glenn Beck is really classy LOL.
Apparently ‘they’ all knew. The general public was the last to find out.

Why is Drudge so quiet about this?
Better yet, why are the mods cleansing FR of any mention of this? There is enough confirmation from two other news sources to warrant more investigation into the allegation. I don’t remember them washing FR of the John Edwards stories.
Who will be the first to mention it?

I’m much more sympathetic than the average FReeper to politicians who get caught with their pants down......
I am a woman and while I don’t condone, I do understand some women are after the rich and powerful. And some men are weak in controlling their urges. Edwards affair was devastating because his wife was dying of cancer. What kind of person does that? What pisses me off about Cruz is he was caught with his pants down while thumping the Bible. Cant preach the high road if you are rolling in the mud.
