Chapeau means hat
Oeuf means egg
It’s like those French have a different word for everything.

Can’t you do it in Latin so we older folks who were in high school in the ‘50s can read it? (just kidding)

Undergraduate French major and still read and speak French fluently.. I just scanned the article and it raises some very disturbing questions about Islam’s threat to Western Civilization. I plan on reading the article in detail later. I would also suggest a very interesting novel from French author, Jean Raspail. The novel, Camp of the Saints, describes how a flotilla of ships from the third world invade Europe and end Western Civilization. I recently found a Kindle edition in English online.

I read “Camp of the Saints” on my Kindle about 2 weeks ago.
The premise behind the book was good but it contained some of the most vile, disgusting pages that I have ever read.
Pure, unadulterated garbage and I’m pretty liberal when it comes to my reading habits.

I stopped learning French at "voolay voo kushay avec moi."
And I learned that one on the radio.Pretty much all a young sailor needs for liberty in a francophone port.
Bumped for Archy, whose acquaintances include folk who marched to Le Boudin and know all the words....

The Camp of the Saints was extremely prescient. Raspail in the early 70s guessed the wrong invaders (impoverished Indians) but he nailed the European response: surrender.
Here is Tet, Take Two in English. The link takes you to Gates of Vienna.net.

I shot emails to a couple of French pals to get their take. Understand that they have got some *good Algerians* in the Legion. And those guys take no second place in dealing with the bad ones who screw it up for everyone else....
Covenantor, Here's a little something for you.
