We owe it to them to return them to their ancestral homeland, in the same financial circumstances their ancestors were in prior to their enslavement.

I wonder if they’ll only try to badger whites to pay for reparations, or if they’ll get greedy and try to make Asians/Hispanics/Cherokees/blacks not affiliated with the NAACP/etc. also try to help pay for reparations.

True. The “people” demanding reparations and extensive tracing of family trees can’t even trace their own family trees back two generations. (Some of them may not even have grandparents, perhaps being of a more demonic/supernatural origin.) They’ll probably just say that anyone without enough melanin has to pay “donations” to anyone with sufficient melanin.
I predict that the Philippines and Costa Rica will be welcoming a lot of expatriates on that day.

The descendants of black slaves in the US, though what happened to their fore parents was evil, has worked out to their advantage. They were born into the richest, most powerful, and up until now, most free nation on the planet. We have advantages that the rest of the world envies.

Exactly. I am not big on genealogy, but I am glad some of my relatives are. Thanks to their diligent work, I can carry both sides of the family tree back over 500 years, which ain't much in the genealogical game but is about 350 years further back than can most descendants of slaves. And by tracking back that far, I can tap into national and clan histories stretching back millennia. I can entirely understand that black Americans would like to be able to do the same. It's not the end of the world if you can't access that history, but it's great to recover it if possible.
