I hope I never have to use my bug-out bag. You make me aware the boots have not been worn for an afternoon in a year or the leather treated for water or “stiffness” Thank YOU!!!
This bag is NOT well packed for Hurricane evacuation either. I would have to take my short term bag, my one week bag and my rolling long term survival bag.
THINKING!!!
Big homes in Loudon County seem target rich as you say. I worry for family there. 900 miles for me and although family would make me stronger, it just does not seem possible to travel there.
Today I hear, on local radio, that 1/3 of the powerball was won in Melbourne Beach and how unfair it is for the rich to win...We are all not rich here, but that will add a bulls eye to my location too! Maybe not nationwide but surely locally, the effort to cross the causeway will not be a deterrent as it had seemed.
Buy a push lawnmower in case gas isn’t available for the riding mower.
Yeah, but you'll be grateful for them later. Those Dutch woollen shoes leak really bad....
;- )
I understand. There’s a guy on Fox that sells that program. I’m many years from retirement and am comfortable with risk.
71. Save a bullet for yourself and one for everyone you love. ;)
I’m not making fun of this; I’m prepared and will be more so by this coming Spring when I move to our ‘big’ farm and we can be a LOT more self-sufficient.
HOWEVER, if there is some sort of space alien invasion or if I’m about to be raped to death by filthy muzzies, I’m taking the easy way out.
I’ve talked to God about this; I have made my case and my peace.
Oh, way to make me feel like crap.
I am so screwed.
Just finished The Jewish War by Josephus. Apparently, you can also burn your food supplies and kill each other off before the Romans invade, leaving no one for them to kill. Still a bit undecided about that as a tactic.
I think it’s a winner! I’ll try a trial run right now....
Wait!
You’ll need a burning permit.
Here's wishing you a prosperous and free retirement in a reconstituted US of A....
A friend was griping about the weeds that came up in his garden after he spread some aged horse manure/sawdust. I looked at it...lamb's quarter.
Ugh, horse manure. Even aged it’s full of stuff that sprouts.
Yeah, but the guy was putting too much effort into eradicating something he could have just pulled and added to a salad.
A guy could have a pretty good time in Dallas with all that,
