In Soviet Russia, horse ride you.
Remember the last time we decided to let the Russians do a significant share of the fighting for us in a war? What resulted from that? Oh, right, 44 years behind the Iron Curtain for Eastern Europe. Because the Russians never do anything unless theyâve first calculated how theyâre going to advance their own geopolitical interests as a result.
So when someone need to bomb the bejeezus out of ISIS and Barack Obama wasnât interested, why sure, Vladimir Putin would be only too glad to help:
Well they did make Hitler use an awful lot of bullets.
On the other hand Roosevelt required us to stand down while Stalin was allowed to occupy a lot of European real-estate. I fear we shall never be free of the Commies that FDR imbedded in our government.
We try but we are few.
But that has always been the case, hasn’t it.
The few saving the country for the ones who don’t pay attention.
BTW, Patton is my second favorite American General.
He runs a close second to Bobby Lee.
It helps that the Patton family lived in VA until after the Civil War.
Bold, brash, confident and larger than life.
While everyone else at West Point was learning to be an officer Georgie was training to be a WARRIOR.
well said ...
“”I fear we shall never be free of the Commies that FDR imbedded in our government.””
You figure they’re still alive?
They have well organized cells that never die.
