Space mining is now part of American law
The Hill ^ | November 25, 2015 | Mark R. Whittington

Fascinating that you only post links to your own material, pointing back to a site where you are paid per hit.

Had no idea the Sierra Club and Greenpeace had space lobbyists in Congress.

I thought it was only a liberal thing to deem something wrong because you might get money for it (at least without looking at where that money comes from).

Some of the best science fiction is based on asteroid mining. Most are high tech rehashes of old west mining story lines, just as SciFi in general tends to mimic western movie themes. But mining has always been a plot device to financially justify situating humans out into space.

Somebody should be keeping an eye out for those who would abuse us.

I don’t feel abused by someone posting interesting and informative articles. That’s what I come to FR for.

Even if the material is stolen and is only posted to get blog hits?

Wow.

I wonder if “hit mining” is covered under this new treaty?

Guess what ....

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was one of the sponsors/advocates.

This is to pander to the Mojave Airport businesses and the Eastern Kern area GOPes.

Stolen? He is stealing his own article? If published authors want to link their articles here great. I wouldn’t have known about this otherwise. And that’s not a vanity. You act like The Hill is his personal blog.

Like I said, as long as it’s interesting or informative. Two things your comments aren’t.

He is stealing his own article?

He doesn't have a research staff.

He found something on the internet and re-wrote it.

Standard blog behavior. Keep up.

His stuff is much more interesting than yours. Oh wait, you don’t have any original stuff. You just like to whine. I have taken to following you around and giving every single person you complain about a hit on their blog. Five or six if it’s really good. So keep it up dude.
