The enthusiasm gap among voters is the deciding factor in elections; it tells us the true story.
In years when Republicans won big they controlled the enthusiasm gap: 1994 it was 44/33; 2002 it was 46/39; in 2010 it was a massive 63/44 and in 2014 it was 42/32. When Democrats won in 2006 they held a 52/41 edge in enthusiasm among their voters.
So far Hillary Clinton’s campaign is not generating enthusiasm.
A recent New York Times piece presents a serious warning for Clinton. It’s not based on a “feeling†but on surveys of her supporters.
Among voters aged 18 to 29 Hillary is getting severely upside down, (35/57) favorable /unfavorable approval ratings. By contrast Bill Clinton and Barack Obama got over 60% favorable ratings from these voters who were 19% of all turnout and supported Obama 60/37 over Mitt Romney.
These numbers are even worse as a result of the sharp drop off of these voters in 2014 which brought the Democrats their second major beat down in four years.
However, the really bad news comes from Clinton’s standing with African American and Hispanic voters. Here’s why.
In 2012, 13% of all voters were Black and more than 90% supported Obama which is widely considered to be the reason for his relatively easy victory. Likewise, he got 71% of the Hispanic vote. While the Hispanic vote is so evenly distributed as to make it a virtual non-factor in many states, in ordinary elections it serves as a bogeyman to scare Republican...

Don’t worry, that’s what voter fraud is for.
Younger (and ethnic) demographics are not going to stand in line 3 times to vote for a bloated, shrill, old bat with a load of white privilege baggage.

I am shocked that dem voters are unenthusiastic about an old, frumpy woman, who has little real accomplishment, with ethical and legal problems. /s
College girl I know says nobody at her school has any enthusiasm for Hillary. Bad news: they like Bernie Sanders.
Well, I’ll tell you. I’m not at all enthusiastic about Hillary Clinton, either as a candidate or as a trustworthy individual.
The Rats running Hillary today is as inexplicable as the Pubes running Dole back in ‘94 or Romney in ‘98. Are they trying to lose? By no means is she as invincible as the “experts” think. These are the same “experts” who predict Trump’s fall at every turn. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Even amongst the progressives I know there is no enthusiasm for that dried up witch. And now she’s officially for gun control as her national agenda. How stupid can you get?
She’s overwhelmingly popular with the departed. I’ve heard that even Ronald Reagan will be voting for her.

I think this may be the first time someone has run for POTUS to avoid jail.
The only way cankles can win the election is if the GOPe pull a dirty trick to coronate jeb at the convention, or they sabotage Trump or Cruz when they win the nomination and the RINOs run jeb or kasich as 3rd party.
I think he might run as independent when Ted Cruz begins to overtake him and the MSM and theGOP-e begin pounding on Trump in their determination to take him down
If only the GOP-e would put as muich effort into attacking hilalry as they do trump and cruz we could actually win next election by a landslide- but nope- the GOP-e only have the courage to attack trump and Cruz it seems-
I dunno- I just have a sinking feeling that the GOP-e actually want to goad trump into running as independent because their man, bush, isn’t going to win—
