America is in the grip of a crisis, namely a shortage of normal people. Evidence indicates that the population of kooks and freaks is rapidly increasing, and there are simply not enough sane people to keep the weirdos under control. Especially among the under-30 demographic, the United States is struggling to cope with the proliferation of dangerous perverts, drug addicts, psychotics and Ivy League liberal arts majors:
A student at Columbia University is urging the school to inject more diversity into its required courses, claiming she suffered severe emotional trauma from reading too many books by and about white people. Columbia students and faculty gathered Wednesday night for a panel discussion on “Race, Ethnicity, and University Life.†. . .
One of the panelists at the event was black Columbia student Nissy Aya. Aya was supposed to graduate in 2014, but instead is only on track to receive her degree in 2016. That, Aya says, demonstrates “how hard it has been for me to get through this institution†. . .
Aya attributed some of her academic troubles to the trauma of having to take Columbia’s current Core Curriculum, which requires students to take a series of six classes with a focus on the culture and history of Western, European civilization. . . .
“It’s traumatizing to sit in Core classes,†she said. “We are looking at history through the lens of these powerful, white men. I have no power or agency as a black woman, so where do I fit in?â€
If you can afford to attend Columbia University (annual tuition $51,008), you are not an oppressed victim of society. A student at an elite university who believes she is being “traumatized†by the curriculum is delusional — she is demented, deranged, mad, zany, wacky, off her rocker....

There’s plenty to critique about other generations, but Millenials are absolutely worthless and need to be left to starve in the streets. Make them think twice about Satanism and socialism.
Once again, the generation responsible for the creation now advocates offing its own creation.

My Millenial nephews-in-law? One is an engineer who works part-time as a farmer, and the other teaches US history to 8th graders and works as a welder on weekends. They’re rather busy young fellows.
More assholes per captita now than in any period in U.S. history....and yet they still proudly self-identify as being “Progressives”.

Every generation since the one which put FDR into office has been terrible, but at least they could somewhat function in the world on their own.
My daughter has started dating a vegan SJW at her college.
She’s a freshman and he’s her first boyfriend.
I’m looking forward to Christmas, so I can impart some of my values on her again.
Given what passes for normal these days, God I hope so.
So because your Millenial offspring are successful, the whole generation is thus redeemed. Uh-huh.
I have children who are arguably “early Millenials” who are successful too, that doesn’t make their generation worthy.

Of course, nobody wants to talk about him though. There's probably more like him than the lazy, delicate flowers protesting on campus...but the flowers get all the attention.
I've got 15 nieces and nephews that are millenials and 3 grandkids. They're all normal, well adjusted kids. Not one of them has ever asked for a 'safe space' or wished they weren't white...

I thought about this recently, and I realized something. Once upon a time, kids were chastised and made fun of when they didn’t conform. Nowadays, nonconformity is not only the norm, but conformity is eschewed and seen as a “microaggression.”
It used to be that society set the rules and the templates, and parents raised their children to abide by those rules. Nowadays, kids are left to “find themselves” and become rogues to conformity. Add on top of that this idea that everyone is a special little flower, and we’ve got a world full of weirdos. Problem is... when everyone’s weird, doesn’t that make weirdness the norm? When will our definition of “normal” become “nonconformist” again?

I’ve met far more awesome kids than slackers. The great guys are just quietly going about life. That’s why we never see them. They’re the excruciatingly polite young man who chases you down to return your wallet and the great kid who stops to help you change a tire in the rain. They’re out there and they are every bit as good as the best.
