I guess my Bulgarian is an Arsenal rifle. This site says
the SA93 rifles originally sold new for about $379, though I don’t recall paying that much in ‘93-’94.

If you can hit a man sized target at 200 -250 yards that’s close enough for government work.

I could group in the throat at 500 meters before my stroke.
With an HK91 or a Garand.

An AK isn’t going to accomplish that no matter who they have shooting it.
