The initial posters are missing your point. I get what you are asking...it’s like we look at ourselves as the bad guy and honestly there are a couple times perhaps we should have used by now . After 9/11 ...and if not then, after the next attack likely not then either.
Because Iran has declared itself to be an enemy of the United States and only a moron or a traitor would enable them to acquire those weapons.
I guess, to be "fair", we should have given Japan a couple of unexploded nukes before they surrendered in WWII.
US policy is that they would use nuclear weapons, that they would use them first and use them against a nation without them if needed.

Most importantly, contrary to your perverted, demented political worldview, the U.S. has historically been a beacon of freedom and stability in the world. At least it has until the community organizing ass clown began his infestation of the White House 7 long years ago. Iran will use their nukes as an offensive weapon as soon as they are able, which is the reason why the POS BO, and like-mindless nimrods like yourself, wants Iran to have them.

You need to study history just a little bit. The USA developed nuclear weapons because the Hitler was developing them. The nuclear weapons were used against Japan to save Japanese lives and American lives. Russia and the USA got into an arms race. The MAD (Mutual Annihilation and Destruction) and treaties stopped it mostly. Russia is quite active again and has drone nuclear attack subs which between them and Korea is probably the reason for the rocket tests in California. Iran has already failed at a dirty weapon attack against Israel. Iran has promised our destruction. North Korea has promised an attack against us. Russian present has said he will bury us.
And you would absolutely be willing to use your weapon to protect yourself and your family, right?

You have them with the hope of never having to use them, a deterrent.
The case for small tactical nukes is different. There's the fallout issue. We would be demonized for that and there are other non nuclear weapons. The only example for using one could be something like Tora Bora. Now Putin, he may not be as earth friendly as us. Let's see how this Russian plane crash settles out.

Pick up a history book for God's sake! We bombed Japan to end the war... the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima were done so Allied troops would not have to invade and conquer Japan, which would have extended the war and costs hundreds of thousands more lives.
We will use them when killing tens of thousands of them prevents millions of us from dying.

Right. If we actually want to deter attacks, then do we attack them with full force or Obama’s ROE? How does the world actually stop ISIS?
