In her article, Matias writes that teachers must address "normalized, oppressive Whiteness," saying that a "colorblind" society cannot truly exist in the United States.

If a colorblind society cannot exist, then what is the incentive to try and create it? She hasn't thought this through, clearly.

If a white will be accused as racist no matter my conduct, what benefit does colorblind conduct bring? Further, what detriment does racist behavior bring? She is promulgating that she does not want whites and blacks to get along, but only if she gets to set the parameters.
