Right Wing Nazis: The Big Lie
Canada Free Press ^ | 11/03/15 | Jim O'Neill

Once you are aware of the truth behind the “Big Lie” you will notice it popping up over, and over, and over again

“And there are moments when I curse myself for not having understood it earlier; for having let myself be fooled by the two ‘soccer-teams’ for so long. Dammit.”—Oriana Fallacci (1929-2006) “The Force of Reason”

Traditionally the political spectrum in the United States runs from Big Government on the left side of the spectrum to no government at all (anarchy) on the extreme right of the spectrum. This is not rocket-science folks: Big Government on the left; limited or no government on the right> – capiche?

TOPICS: Government; Politics; Society
KEYWORDS: biglie; nazis; rightwing; truth

Nazi= a member of the German national socialist party. By definition, only lefties, or democrat.

Back in Hitler’s day, right wing was equivalent to left wing in America...they were reversed in Europe, but over the 20 years we lived in Germany, the labels changed somewhat.

Dictators are NEVER described as left-wing. Have you ever seen the phrase “left-wing” applied to Joseph Stalin or Fidel Castro?

Heck, the MSM and academia hesitate to describe those two as dictators in the first place.

The traditional German Right despised the Nazis, and were the ones who tried to assassinate Hitler several times!!!!

And Hitler said—including when he declared war on the United States—that he had been trying to build a “socialist state”!!!!

Big govt and anarchy are both leftist principles.

For over 50 years the left has orchestrated civil unrest/race riots, anarchy, as a path to more govt.

The National Socialists differed from their Communist comrades in one critical point. The German Communists had allegiances towards the Soviets, while the German Socialists had allegiances towards the German motherland. Both were left wing, neither resemble anything remotely labeled right wing here in the US.

Here is a response to that article posted by a commentator, which seems to be right:

**************

I agree totally that the nazis are left wing and have zero to do with the limited government / no government side of the political spectrum.

I do have one disagreement which does not alter your point, but clarifies it a bit.

The “national” and the German” are not redundant. The “national” is intended to contrast with “international” (marxist) socialism. National socialism is based on race and fatherland, international socialism is based on class and economic interests.

You could and did have national socialist (other country) workers parties.

The reason the “nazism is far right” lie can succeed is the superficially similar but completely different ideas - - love of one’s country (patriotism) and supremacist love of one’s race and country (nazism).

The left hates America and the patriotic right does not. That is the psychological basis for the lie and for the illogical basis of the lie.

Back in Hitler’s day, right wing was equivalent to left wing in America...they were reversed in Europe, but over the 20 years we lived in Germany, the labels changed somewhat.

The terms "Left wing" and "Right wing" come from the Pre Revolution French parliament in which supporters of the King sat on the right, and supporters of the peasants or laborers sat on the left.

The French revolution was a left wing socialist revolution. The Nazis were socialist revolutionaries too. The word "Nazi" derives from "NAtionalSoZIalistische Deutsche ArbeiterPartei, which literally means "National Socialist German Worker's Party.

In Germany, the supporters of the Kaiser and the members of the Aristocracy in Germany, were the right wing, and they hated Hitler.

Because they were constantly lied to about this by both the Media and Academia who are themselves left wing, but wanted to portray the Nazis as the opposite of themselves. The media and academia can't bring themselves to admit that the Nazis are the children of their beloved ideology, so they teach and repeat the lie that Nazis were right wing.

Pretty damning indictment of the People in the US to say that they are TOO STUPID or LAZY to actually do some reading and research on their own, instead they learned everything they know from the Television, and they believe ALL OF IT!!

I agree with you though

This isn’t rocket science.

Nationalist Socialists are Nazis.

Internationalist Socialists are Communists.

American Socialists are Democrats.

This is Political Science 101.

It is well documented that back in the day, much of the US Media were fanboys of the “Worker’s Utopia” that the Soviets had brought to Russia. Many in the US Media were actually on the Soviet Payroll, paid to dispense propaganda.

The “Nazi’s were right-wingers” meme was cemented by William Shirer in his “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”. Shirer was himself a devoted Socialist, and did not want National Socialism to harm the image of Soviet Socialism, which he promoted.

The Nazis called themselves socialist in the early days as a way of attracting followers in the post-war depression. They did whatever it took to gain power.

Not everything can be easily placed into only two groups, left and right. The right wing are often identified with a quest for limited government. But other people who identify as right wing are in favor of harsher treatment for immigrants, more strict rules on social behavior, and a general concern with eliminating aspects of perceived weakness. The Nazis obviously did have something in common with this latter type of ideology.

G. Gordon Liddy can fairly be described as a right wing person. But his autobiography definitely glorified some aspects of Naziiam which he had admired from childhood.

Why did so many people with right wing political views grow up in Catholic families? Because they are used to and admire a system with strict social rules and they see the political right as favoring this direction.
