MSM Already Hyping 2015 as Hottest Year on Record

Did you know that 2014 was the hottest year on record? Oops! Never mind. It turns out that after that claim was made, NASA scientists rather sheepishly admitted that there was only a 38% percent chance that was true.

Well, at least the mainstream media waited until the end of 2014 to make that silly claim but now they just can't wait because according to them, 2015 WILL BE THE HOTTEST YEAR ON RECORD. The MSM started hyping this "fact" almost out of the starting gate long before most of the stats even existed. Way back on April 15, Slate was proclaiming that 2015  Is Shaping Up to Be The Hottest Year on Record:

We’re having a freeze here tonight in the Cleveland Akron area. A dozen or so years ago, I painted my house during the first 10 days of December, and I was wearing a tee shirt!

27 degrees here this morning. We usually see our first snow within a few days of Halloween and it looks like we’ll be right on time this year as well.

I keep waiting for fall to hit here, getting tired of 88°+ day after day. Funny, fall always seems to happen a lot later closer to the equator, summer heats up a bit later as well. I suppose there is a good reason for that, but am too lazy to search for it.

Well, of course. Wait till they figure in Oct., Nov., and Dec., all not known to be among the warmest of months.

Something terrible is going on. I live in Iowa. Awful things are happening. Many trees appear to be dying.

My maple tree has had the leaves turn from a dark green in the summer; to shades of yellow and orange and red. My neighbors maples are doing the same thing.
Oak trees and other trees such as walnuts are having the same thing happen.
Also the corn fields have turned from a lush green; to a brownish yellow color; the plants look to be all dead.
It also seems to be getting much colder; and the days seem to getting shorter.
I’m fearful; maybe human caused climate change is real after all.

Here in Southern California, before I completely remodeled my house, we would be turning on the heater at this time of year to knock off the chill from a night hitting 55-58 degrees. Friday I went to work out before work, at 5:00 am, and it was already 73 degrees.

I don’t even believe it.

I just made it through a Texas summer. It was warm sure, But now it’s over. Fall is right around the corner.

Bunch of climate nonsense.

The past two summers, we didn’t even install all of our window air conditioners. And we live in the Midwest where summers are usually hot and humid and winters cold and snowy.

I dont’ see “global” warming around here. It might be getting warmer elsewhere but these have not been the hottest years ever in our area.

Damn lieing MEDIA, NASA, NSF, NWS, NOAA, EPA, and all the rest of the lieing alpha bet soup corrupt organizations.
Lost my whole fruit crop this year.
Yeah; 12-15 degrees all through April and May of 2015.
Hottest year on record my skinny, hairy, redneck butt.
These peckerwoods wouldn’t know the average temperature if it froze their d^cks to a fire hydrant.

It’s always hottest under the exhaust of the AC unit, that’s where most of their instruments are located.
