Black Lives Matter Leader Demands New Constitution or There will be "Bullets"
The Social Memo ^ | 10/7/15 | Aurelius

Posted on 10/07/2015 8:32:17 AM PDT by rightistight

A "Black Lives Matter" leader has issued a dire warning for the United States: the United States needs a new Constitution or else, he warns, "it will be the bullet" for the US.

Blake Simons, who wrote an article detailing his ideas, is the Deputy Comms Director of "Afrikan Black Coalition." The name of his piece is "A New Constitution or the Bullet."

Simons writes, "Our Black Lives Matter protests have stormed the country, yet cops continue to kill us daily, and the judicial system continues to justify our deaths with acquittals, non-indictments, and light sentences-all in the name of upholding the Constitution."

After months of protesting, Simons explains that he came "to realize that the Constitution is the root of virtually all our problems in America."

He continues, "The U.S. is a country that was founded on slavery, genocide, rape, and white male patriarchy. The colonizers that we condemn for enslaving Afikans and murdering indigenous peoples are the same people that produced and upheld the document we use to govern our nation to this day. Our bloodshed is rooted in this nation’s founding document, The Constitution."

For this reason, there "must be a new constitution or the bullet."

"A Constitution written by only white men will never serve the interests of Black people," Simons argues. "The Constitution was written for the ruling class of white men which constructed whiteness to be more valuable than any other race. When we discuss institutional racism, it is essential that we realize that the Constitution created it."

Simons then lays out his demands. "The United States has failed us; it is time we demand a new constitution or tell America that she will get the bullet," he says. "White supremacy’s bullets are killing Black people every day. If America does not protect us, then it is our human right to defend ourselves by any means necessary. It is our human right to overthrow a government that has been destructive to our people. This is why we must rise up and let all people come together and write new constitution to serve ALL people."

According to Simons, the example set by the Black Panthers must be followed. "The idea for a new constitution is not a new idea, rather an old one that was developed by the Black Panther Party," he writes. "In 1970, the Black Panther Party organized a Revolutionary People’s Constitutional Convention, however, after infiltration by the illegal COINTELPRO the idea never came into fruition. We must pick up where the Black Panthers left off and declare a new constitution or it will be the bullet."

He concludes his article with the warning, "If America fails to allow all people of this nation to write a new constitution, then it will be the bullet. Revolution is inevitable in a society that does not value the lives of all people."

“For example,Iirc, all of NYC’s water flows in through two big pipes (with a third being built). Turn the valves off somewhere Upstate and watch how fast the “revolution” crumbles.”

Good point, additionally with “just in time” supply and delivery model (common nation wide), most supermarkets are 2 to 3 days (less if an actual warning goes out) from empty at any given time.

When someone leaves the People’s Republic of Massachusetts, there is some hope that we can put pressure on to change his views with which we disagree.

Romney on ‘Defense of Marriage Act’
The actions that I take as president depends on part on the state of play in Washington, the people that are there and what options exists - but certainly I would defend the Defense of Marriage Act which the current president has refused to defend. I believe that the Defense of Marriage Act was well constructed and should be maintained.

If a “revolutionary outbreak” in NYC is contained by closing the bridges and interdicting river traffic, shutting down the food supply and turning off the fresh water, does the “revolution” crumble before the revolutionaries realize their urban hipster allies are a food source, or after?

Then, by all means, vote based on ‘hope’. You might as well hope Harry Reid turns ultra conservative when Obama leaves office.

Instead, I voted based on Romneys PERFORMANCE. What he did, what he said. IF he was genuine, he would have made a principaled stand and NOT signed any of those liberal hot-button laws. But, he did not.

So, for you cast aspersions at others, here on FR, for NOT voting Romney, when he has been shown repeatedly to be just as socialist, , casts your own position into doubt.

Zulu Dawn was a great movie. Thanks for reminding me. Haven’t seen that movie in years but think I’ll watch it online tonight.

The whole “Black Lives Matters” thing is a bunch of BS and I’m sick of hearing about it.

We should have picked our own damn cotton.

I really get the impression that they think they are a much larger % of the population than they actually are!

I read an article while ago on the internet about a German exchange student who was attending a mostly black inner city school. One time the German student gave a talk to the class about his hometown in Germany. He talked about various things and people in his hometown.

At one point one of the black students asked him what all the black people in his town did. The German student started explaining that there weren't any black people in his town. Other black students in the class expressed disbelief. There had to be lots of blacks in his hometown. There were many blacks where they lived, so therefore, there must be lots of black people everywhere. The German student must have been lying.

But you don't have to got to Europe to know there's not a lot of black people outside the big cities. In many parts of the U.S., especially the upper Midwest where I live, outside the big cities and a few other smaller locales, there's very few blacks. You can drive through quite a few small and medium-sized communities and not see one black person.

Interestingly, it was the Arabs who sold us the blacks from Africa in the first place. It appears they got us coming and going!

Harry Reid comment is preposterous, even for you. Romney was called a flip-flopper because of modifying his views to be more appealing for a national run. He was under pressure from the right side of his party.

I trust you are so principled that we should not have cooperated with the Soviet Union to defeat the Nazis. That would have been a principled decision and we should have fought both Nazis and Communists in 1941. Right?

Obama was like nothing we have ever seen. And we all knew it. In a different time, I may have voted third party. But not in 2012. It was too important to try to keep Obama from a second term. We are watching him destroy the country and its culture.

Some people do not recognize that politics is the art of the possible. Had Romney been elected, those to the right of him in Congress had some leverage to deal with him or they could hold up legislation he wanted. There is no leverage whatsoever with Obama. He just makes laws with a stroke of the pen. I believe that Romney actually respects the Constitution, despite the many disagreement I have with him.

Romney never championed same sex marriage in Massachusetts. The person who did that was a South African born, married to NYTimes liberal, state supreme court judge by the name of Maggie Marshall. She was aligned with the 90% liberal state legislature.

Whatever a Republican governor wants is irrelevant with a far left controlled legislature and a runaway liberal state supreme court.

Glad to hear they support the same cause as Mark Levin...although they may differ a bit in the details.
