Russian fighter jets have attacked 10 Islamic State targets in Syria in their latest airstrikes, destroying arms depots, training centers and infrastructure, Defense Ministry says. In the last 24 hours, Russian military aircraft have performed 20 sorties.

While we were celebrating the “peace dividend” by figuring out how to supply condoms for Sandra Fluke, Russia had 20 years of access to the best Western technology and was using it to modernize their military. Don’t be so sure that they’re still at the dumb bomb stage.

One of the things about ISIS, as we learned, is that they know it’s better to retreat than to fight against an overwhelming force. Now they’ll have new targets, as they fan out from their ‘refugee’ holding pens in the West.

How did anyone know that ISIS had such facilities? From MSM, they are a vague, mysterious group. They run around in pickup trucks with machine guns on them.
The Russkies got right on them (using whose intel?). Also a good way to use up old munitions, try out new ones, get in flight hours, develop tactics, etc. Determine how US and others respond (SIGINT, etc.)
Then on Friday, bo says Putin attacked because he is weak.

The terrorists that Obama, the RINO’s and most importantly the Saudis-Gulf Arabs who our politicians kiss up to support aren’t much different from IS. The “Free Syrian Army” types just don’t post their videos online after the beheadings.
Russia is bad but the terrorists are worse so we’ll just have to accept that Russia is doing what its doing. I don’t want Americans dying for Saudi interests which is what I think is really behind the attempt to overthrow Assad.
