A new poll of Arizona Republican voters shows former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina as the big winner in this week's presidential debate on CNN.

Summit Consulting Group surveyed 996 likely GOP voters on who they thought won the three-hour debate this week.

Forty-six percent picked Fiorina, who touts her business background, as the winner. U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida was second at 18.2 percent followed by GOP frontrunner Donald Trump with 16 percent.

Several online, unscientific post-debate polls were dominated by Trump supporters.

Did you read the article?
Are you aware there is nothing in the poll about vote selection?

Carly, miss cap and trade herself, was around 9 or 10 in AZ before they debate.

Let’s see where she lands when an actual vote selection poll is run. She will likely rise. But she won’t get 46.

EXCLUSIVE: White House hopeful Carly Fiorina’s claims of motherhood and ‘secretary to CEO’ rise to the top come under fire as ex-husband ridicules her as ‘calculating’ and tragic stepdaughter’s mom says: ‘Lori was MY daughter’

Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett-Packard CEO, is the only woman in Republican White House race
She is campaigning on her ‘secretary to CEO’ resume and has talked about how she and her husband were hit by death of ‘their younger daughter’ Lori
But her husband’s ex-wife - who was Lori’s mom and had custody of her and her sister - tells Daily Mail Online: ‘That’s not how I remember it’
Fiorina also claims a ‘modest’ family upbringing - but her father was a federal judge and her parents gave her ‘baby grand piano’ as a gift
Her ex-husband says of her ‘rags to riches’ story: ‘She settled on business school, it was all planned’
She has staked her claim to the American dream on her rise from secretary to CEO and made it the platform from which she has launched countless speeches as a would-be presidential candidate.

But now Carly Fiorina’s story has been put in doubt by the man she was with at the very start of her rise.

Todd Bartlem, who went on to become Fiorina’s first husband, accuses her of creating a misleading mythology and ‘losing her humanity’ for a ‘pathological’ pursuit of power.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Online, he said: ‘It’s not like she was a secretary for 15 years and rose up. She dropped out of law school, she settled on business school. It was all very planned.

‘She’s a very calculating person and her risks paid off but whenever I read descriptions about her life there’d always be this bit that she rose from a secretary at a real estate company to the head of AT&T…

‘I mean she had a part-time position when she quit law school and she had to have money to pay the rent, so she worked as a secretary to a real estate firm in Palo Alto, but it was incidental.’

The same jerk who keep electing Juan McCain? Not impressed.

But the same voters who are now polling against McCain by 9 points. Just sayin....

Thanks for the post. Over time, this woman is going to be revealed for what she is.

Thinking people who are always alert and questioning, could see troubling signs related to her. They will be born out IMO.

If she remains in, she’ll be destroyed by the time she is done. If she had half a clue, she’d drop out now and enjoy life.

No use having all your past revealed, and destroying everyone’s respect for you.

Thanks again.

Arizona elects Flake and McCain, I guess its too hot and sunny there.

Carly is pro amnesty Trump is not, for a border area state it doesn’t make sense does it.

Ask Sheriff Joe who is for Arizona.

This title is misleading. Trump isn’t “at” 16%. This is a poll of who “won” the debate, not a level of support at this point in time.

The poll was on who won the debate, not who they wanted as a candidate.

It is very informative. I had heard previously that she was the Judas on the Republican side who first turned on Sarah Palin. I had no idea that McLame had considered her for his VP.

Do not make up your own titles.
Always use the title at the link to the story.

“Fiorina 46%, Trump at 16% in AZ”

Oh, Lord, say it’s not so. I can see these imbeciles reelecting Juan McCainiac to his 6th senate term if this is true. What are they putting in the prune juice out there?

Does AZ poll even count as such? Do they understand the system? This is the state which believes Juan McCain is the best thing going, coming, or sitting in between. Just as he lingers on and on with his ‘war hero’ label, the same is being done with his ‘esteemed Senator’ label. The wimp is no statesman.

This poll isn’t yuge for The Donald, so it is not trustworthy!!!
Outlier poll! Don’t trust them! Too early to trust the polls! (But not too early if the poll is good for The Donald, so say Trump maniacs).

IOW, I only trust polls that are good for The Donald!!! That is the Trump Maniac way, don’t cha know?

Gravis Marketing poll (yesterday) for uber-conservative OAN (where Trump was interviewed by Sarah Palin) showing Fiorina and Trump tied nationally is despised now, but a past poll from them was liked by Trump supporters when it was good news for The Donald.

And the Voter Gravity poll (well over 2,000 respondents) is a yuge poll, but is a somewhat unknown poll and not to be trusted because RCP doesn’t accept them -— BUT other polls that RCP does not accept are accepted here at FR by Trump supporters - if and only if it has good news for Trump, though.

See how it works?

This poll is about debate performance, not overall picks. Fiorina clearly had a good performance. However, there are several polls post-debate that show Trump actually increased his lead over other candidates. I believe he will continue to increase his lead as the media tries supporting the next GOPe candidate (Bush didn’t work so well, Kasich either and Carson really torpedoed his campaign with the debate and follow on comments about 9/11 and Afghanistan)which now, is Fiorina. That will fade and perhaps they will rally around Rubio, next.

Does your idea of “Laissez-faire capitalist” include the ability to import the workers for the jobs that can’t be exported?

You seem preoccupied with the same goals as The Cheap Labor Express.
