When Barack Obama jumped into the mix almost eight years ago a response of excitement shivered through the population. He was an unexpected surprise of awesome proportions preaching soaring rhetoric about how he would change America. He was an untested presidential hopeful, but he filled a vacuum of enormous angst, disappointment and rage created by President George Bush. People flocked to him as a savior, a messiah. His mantra: Hope and Change.
It’s happening again. An outsider, another unexpected personality on the horizon, an unanticipated mover and shaker has jumped into the political dance. Donald Trump is stampeding across the current political landscape like a bull in a china shop filling the vacuum of disappoint and anger created by now President Barack Obama’s promises of transparency as well as his style of his way or the highway. The other candidates don’t know how to deal with Donald Trump, the press is having trouble defining his upsurge, maybe even he himself has taken himself by surprise. And a close to hysterical public is clamoring toward him, fawning, clawing, following feverishly as he bellows his mantra: Make America

Yawn, another day - another hit piece. And the hits just keep on coming.
He has put forth a more concrete plan on immigration than we've seen in years. And it restores the rule of law.
Yup, Trump and Obama are two sides of the same coin, though FReepers are loathe to admit it.

Donald is the real thing. He's an open book and has a long history. If you watched the apprentice, you got to know "the man" who can indeed make America great again. No bowing....
Oh, I agree! One is a lazy, unaccomplished choomer with a chip on his shoulder the size of Gibraltar. He also hates America, loves Muslims, pals around with domestic terrorists, and never misses a chance to apologize for the USA. Oh, and did I mention he despises the military and vets, and is presiding over a record number of military suicides?
The other doesn’t drink or do drugs, is anything but lazy, has a lot more on his resume than ‘community organizer,’ loves, respects and values the military and vets, LOVES the USA, and wouldn’t apologize for us at any price.

Me too. I stated to notice that like Obama, there does not seem to be any details forthcoming, just generalized statements about "winning".
Unlike Obama, we know who Trump is. He has a history as a successful businessman who has made himself extremely wealthy.
I suspect that the media is feeding the frenzy and I wonder why. Are they doing it because they like a good show? Or because they know Trump is a narcissist and a narcissist can be "managed" by publicity. A media specialty.
On the other hand, win or lose, Trump has schooled the one dimensional republicans on how to campaign in the new century.
Secondly, if he truly feels this country is in need of a no nonsense businessman to take the reigns and rid us of the corrupt political career politicians and their lobbyist bag men, Trump seems like the right choice.
Same style, same personality, many of the same policies. This article is right on.

Bottom line....the winner won because...."They had a better plan".
I have been feeling this fawning to be the same myself and it worries me. He was my second pick for a while.
The Donald has done some serious damage to the Republican elitist and I have enjoyed this but I am grown weary of his childish attacks of other Republican candidates.
Just as an aside, Trump’s basic outline is his book, Time to get Time. Many details and specific plans in it. Also, he is rolling out his agenda one piece at a time. First was the border and illegals, etc. His next focus will be on the military and vets. After that I’m not sure, but as I mentioned, he’s taking it step by step.

I’m sick of the Trump doesn’t give us any details. I hear Ted Cruz talk about abolishing the IRS - yet have yet to hear how he plans to do this. This is a double standard and most know it.
That's why only Trump says the words “deport” and “Wall”. The fact the others don't say this means they are for more immigrants. Also Trump is the only one talking against china and Mexico. The others running are owned by China and Mexico
Immigrants are moving the USA to the left .If we don't stop immigration legal and illegal then the USA will be a socialist tyrannical state soon.

You cannot really believe Trump is a Malignant Narcissist. If so, how did this miracle happen? It takes a very specific set of young childhood circumstances to create the human monster known as a Malignant Narcissist. Obama had them; Trump didn’t.
