Does the article happen to mention that those mass deportations worked? No I did not read it, I’m hostile enough today.

Eighty years and we still haven’t learned.

“About 60 percent of those who left were American citizens”

Since we cannot deport Americans, obviously, it sounds like most of that 60% were Anchor Babies whose parents VOLUNTARILY took them to where they should be living...and the families therefore STAYED TOGETHER, just as Trump has promised will happen.

“Trump, or no one else, has called for the deportation of American citizens. The writer is a liar.”

Not actually lying, but deceptive. Read it again, “60% of those who left”. Didn’t say 60% of those who were deported. Big difference.

Fact is Trump doesn’t go far enough. Beside all the other factors mentioned in previous postings on this subject;

In “countries such as Mexico where an American citizen decides to be a “legal” emigree never mind being a seasonal visitor.

They are denied voting privledges. Ownership of land in their own name, and selected access to government services.

Worse if entering that country illegaly. Then face steep fines and jail time before getting kicked out. Beside being denied use of government services, including; income and energy subsistance, food stamps, or bringing in family members or state paid legal services .

When Trump announces he doesn’t believe we should not allow any such full citizenship privledges to illegals who are from countries such as Mexico that deny to a legal American immigrant full citizenship privledges.

That those “Dreamers” who were given this unconstitutional bypassed federal laws treatment entrance by INS who miss their INS hearing be deported fortwith, and denied re-entry.Immediately deport any illegal convicted of a felony.As well as deal harshly with those administering and following these unconstitutional dictums from the executive branch ;

When Trump then announces he supports reciprocal citizenship requirements. and gets accused of being racist I’ll believe in him when he “eats his cracker” then asks God for forgiveness./s...

Not different, not harder either. Few will want to stay if they can’t find employment or receive a government handout. Self-deportation is not a myth, it is a cold, hard, reasonable truth. I would add that a little grease is also simple to apply- You have three months to secure your bank accounts, liquidate your property holdings, sell your vehicles, etc., then these items will be subject to forfeiture if you are here illegally. Build a wall? Yeah ok, but E-verify will get the job done.

Ike deported illegals in the 50s. You won’t know how easy it is to do until you try it. The mantra of “we can’t deport 11 million people” reminds me of the sports maxim we’re told as kids: 100% of the shots you don’t try will not go in.

Upon rereading, true. But he is still a liar.
