Willis Eschenbach and the Myth of the “Sixth Wave of Extinction”

Predation by another species is the number one cause of extinction

Willis Eschenbach, who takes pride in saying that he is not a trained scientist but has logged thousands of hours of research on the subject, was the first person to file a FOIA request for the infamous data from the University of East Anglia CRU. Hackers downloaded emails from said university that had shown that scientists had manipulated the data to agree with the global warming theory.

Eschenbach lectured an audience in California about the “Myth of Species Extinction,” more specifically, the legend that humans have caused the disappearance of countless birds and mammals with their existence and industrial activity.

A popular myth states that “we are in the sixth wave of extinction,” said Eschenbach. It appears that life on Earth experienced five mass extinctions due to natural disasters but some biologists are talking about a sixth wave of extinction caused by humans. The top five extinctions are:

TOPICS: History; Pets/Animals; Society; Weather
KEYWORDS: extinction; habitatloss; predation

Well, we did cause the extinctions of a lot of animals back when hunting was one of our main sources of food. Compared to that, anything we affect nowadays probably looks like small potatoes.

This is cool! This is what real science is; not some PhD for learning how to work within the envelope.

The bunk theory gets ripped apart mostly by using basic math. Sad how no major news agencies will pick this up. Reminds me how in much of the Middle East, the majority of Muslims have never actually read the Koran for themselves; they simply do what other clerics and leaders have told them to do.

It’s great to follow Willis’ prolific writing in “Watts up with That”. He seems to be able to write more significant technical, well researched, articles than I can simply read. He also does this while working to support his family in non-scientific jobs. I’ll rank his findings higher than any “scientist” sucking up the billions in government handouts promoting failed agendas.

Here’s the answer: Liars lie.

The enviros have never proved that species extinction is a good thing. Isn’t extinction part of the evolution process? If a new naked molerat evolves, and the old one goes extinct, why should humans be concerned and/or try to prevent this natural process?
