Krauthammer’s trouble acknowledging the principle of dynamic scoring

We are what we are and very few of us can totally change. We can change our voting registration but we are still essentially of the same political stripe. The exceptions prove the rule. Just as we cannot paint a tiger golden brown and create a lion we can never fully leave our formative ideas behind.

Charles Krauthammer’s criticisms of Donald Trump’s immigration reform plan serves to support this truth. Krauthammer was born in America but raised in French speaking Montreal one of the largest liberal enclaves in North America. He apparently became enamored with all of the foolishness of the liberal construct. On his return to America he found his way to a job as a speech writer for Vice President Walter Mondale, one of the most consistently wrong liberal Democrats of his day.

Then as now, part of being a liberal Democrat is denying truth and supporting fiction. Among the more subtle fantasies of the liberal Democrat is that dynamic scoring does not exist. It does and it is easy to prove. Each time a greedy Democrat doubles taxes and is stunned to see that instead of twice as much tax revenue there is half as much, his nose is rubbed in dynamic scoring. Each time taxes are cut and revenues go up these people scratch their head in amazement. Democrats refuse to acknowledge that taxes and other government policies have an effect on human behavior except when they raise taxes on tobacco in anticipation that it will reduce smoking. When it does just that they never allow the thought that dynamic scoring actually works to enter their closed minds.

Over the years, I’ve watched him on TV, sometimes read his articles and once generally thought he was a conservative - of a sort.

These last interminable years of Obama has steeled my impression of Kraut as nothing more than an establishment shill who writes as and plays something akin to a conservative-like intellectual on TV and in print.

In truth, he knows nothing about real America save that which he might see in the environs of his cloistered DC existence. He is in no way a conservative by any stretch of the imagination - hell, he isn’t even anything near an establishment Republican for that matter.

What he is, is a wheelchair bound liberal who has a great deal of intellect that he uses to deceive those who listen to him. In the end, he’ll never see (nor care I figure) the damage he’s helped wreak on us out here in tax paying America.

You can put him, Kristol, Wallace, Will and all the rest of the Fox Sunday best in a box and pick a tag. Chances are one of the tags you draw is somebody who prefers to vote for a Democrat.
