"I still have my Rat Patrol lunch box!"

Do you still have the thermos that came with it?

You do realize that Melody was 14 when she got the role. It was to late to recast the role when the studio found out her age. In the black and white series. She and Wilton never kiss. She was still only 15. BTW. “Baby makes her Blue Jeans Talk”.

Almost all the German characters in Hogan’s Heroes were played by Jewish actors.

Irony, can be pretty ironic.

There was another series, it ran about the same time.. that depicted US troops in the Italian campaign..but for the life of me I can't remember the name.

That series was "The Gallant Men".

Too bad. Those old 60's lunchboxes are very collectible and worth a decent chunk of change IF you still have the thermos.

Black Adder with Mr. Bean

The closing scene of "Black Adder Goes Forth" was IMHO the best show ending ever.

Black Sheep would be my favorite too, followed by JAG.

The Unit had the makings of a good show, but they totally destroyed it by having the commander sleeping with one of the operator’s wives. That would never happen—especially in SF. It also pretty spotty as far as writing—often devolved into a lot PC crap.

Band of Brother’s mini series. (Not for the light hearted times)

Hogans Hero’s was funny, especially with the Germans speaking in German but, by actually speaking English with a German accent.

MASH I liked when I was a kid before I recognised what what it meant to be narcissistic. (Hawkeye Pierce)

I have the DVDs for all of China Beach. And you’re right about the sound track. The music was excellent, but all of it had to be licensed, driving the cost of the DVD set through the roof.
