Stan Freberg parodied this in his classic “Elderly Man River” back in the 1960s. Very similar to these panels.

Humor, and music are on respirators, and about to permanently go “tits up”.
Today’s music is bubble gum pablum, or “I shot a n—— in tha head rap, and today’s comics are crass crude and unfunny.
Led Zeppelin, or Earth Wind, and Fire, and Richard Pryor, or Robin Williams would flop with today’s young adults.
Maybe it means I’m old and don’t understand, but I don’t think so.
My Grandsons like AC/DC, Def Leppard, The Eagles, and other music I listened to much better than today’s stuff.
When I show them movies like Blazing Saddles, or the Original Pink Panther movies they giggle about them for days like we used to.
I find it tough to blame kids for being PC. There are several sources pushing for PC that kids can’t control; parents, school, and entertainment/media. But even with those pressures, kids can be heavily influenced by non-PC parents. My kids and many of their friends can turn on a PC facade when needed for institutional purposes, but when they are safe to be themselves they are pretty normal. Most of my kids friends listen to music from the 70’s, but I have noticed they have some other musical tastes from online that you would never hear on the radio, such as nordic/viking metal. (Not has harsh as the name, it has a lot of folk elements). By they way, a lot kids don’t even listen to the radio and many don’t watch TV, they rather watch Netflix or something online. They have a sense humor and it not PC. So I am happy to report that there is some hope.
That was said by a guy that reneged on an appearance in support of St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Can't remember why exactly. Maybe because Trump was involved (way before his 2016 POTUS ambitions), or somebody else not of Seinfeld's insular liberal clique.
(Yes, he ended up donating cash in lieu of his appearance.)
Time to subject them to Lenny Bruce’s “nigger” routine. I think he did a good job.
