“One factor is those Sanders supporters. They could cast their protest vote for Trump if Sanders is treated unfairly”

Remember when we thought Hillary! supporters would vote for Romney because of the way she was treated by the Dems? They even had a group name that presently alludes me now. Nonetheless, it collapsed completely on election day. Chickens went home to roost.

Carly will be most useful as Trump campaign spokes-person after Trump is nominated. After general election, she could be the press secretary.

Comparing the current situation with Romney not being able to draw in dissatisfied dems isn’t valid. Romney’s task was to make sure a conservative didn’t get the Republican nomination. After that, he threw the election.

Problem is, monarchism is not an American value. Having three members of the same immediate family hold the presidency makes America look like a third-world tin-pot banana republic where all the power resides with a handful of wealthy families.

Holding my nose and voting for Jeb isn't the same as enthusiastically voting for him. Jeb isn't as bad as Romney but in no way do I want Jeb as the nominee. However, if Jeb gets it, I could see myself voting for him with no enthusiasm.

The dynasty argument makes little difference if Hillary is opposing Jeb. In all likelihood, such an election is either going to give to us Clinton term III or Bush term IV.

Yeb! will destroy the country with Amnesty, and he’ll do it with a Republican congress. I’ll never vote for Jeb.

Your logic is precisely what the GOPe has been counting on for the last four election cycles. No more “holding our nose” or “voting with no enthusiasm” or “voting for the GOP even though they are worse liberals than the Dems”.

The Establishment thinks we are stupid for good reason.

film his own debate, put on you tube and allow WTP to see just exactly what he has to contribute.

I think he should make a series of YouTube chats with all his prospective cabinet members. Then again, Google owns YouTube.

Where's the second party?

Ouch! Good one!

Ok, so here is my question...

We know that Trump was ALSO called by Bill. Why? Trump say he and Bill are friends, which brings up the question...

If Bill called Trump about the race and if they are friends, WHY would Bill then call Jeb to undermine Trump? Something doesn’t fit...

If Bill is playing both sides, is Trump blind to the fact that Clinton is trying to undermine him? If so, WHY is he doing that? What is the motivation for telling Trump to run and then undermine him?

If Bill wanted to undermine the GOP, why not ask Donald to run 3rd party?

Something doesn’t feel right about this story. I would like to know WHY Trump and Clinton spoke...and, if the Clintons really fear Trump, why not urge him to not to run?

Holding my nose and voting for Jeb isn't the same as enthusiastically voting for him.

As far as the electoral college and history are concerned they are identical.

I'd rather write in "no candidate on this ballot is acceptable".

Trumps been getting many calls from pretty much anyone who has known him or knows him now...he gets to pick who he takes them from.

I don’t find it especially disturbing , if indeed Billy called him, several former Presidents are active in Presidential runs even before they get off the ground.

I wouldn’t be surprised if ol Billy told Trump to keep his mouth shut regarding Hillary....which of course he didn’t.

I say let Trump roll as long as he can...he will fade in the long run unless he ups the game...and with the change now of his top guy we might be in for the second round of Trump ahead.

Article reads....”The call for help has even been issued to Jeb Bush’s seeming Democratic rival – Team Clinton. Apparently, Bush operatives believe that between the two political dynasties and their many supporters among the Mainstream Media and corporate business world, “the Trump threat” can be quickly terminated before it grows into a legitimate challenge to the seemingly pre-determined Bush vs Clinton 2016 showdown.”....

Which should surprise nobody.....I think Trump will handle himself plenty ok as he moves forward with a new top man.....

But we don’t need a 3rd party...’THEY’ are the 3rd Party we’re getting off our chair!...”WE’ are the GOP.

The thing is, with the exception of 64-era Goldwater and Reagan, this is what the Republican Party always has been, the party of the country club milquetoast set.

“Isn’t it likely that a majority of US voters would vote against the dynasty situation?”

From your lips to God’s ear.

“who would reluctantly pull the lever for Jeb.”

After he sat there and let Terri Schiavo die? The only lever I’ll ever pull for him is one to operate the trap on a gallows.

PMJI, but are there any circumstances under which you would consider an armed revolt to be sane?

“These debates are stupid. They are moderated by Democrats who only want to clear the path for the Democrat candidates.”

I know the pubbies are called “The Stupid Party,” but how could anyone be so stupid as to allow this, not just once, but election after election, down the decades?

“Schiavo was a different issue, not same as late term abortions and harvesting baby organs.”

It was the wrongful taking of an innocent life. Almost as bad as abortion; worse than the selling of body parts.

Couldn’t he put it on his own Web site? He could certainly afford the servers.
