I have been posting on facebook several articles regarding the horrible actions of Planned Parenthood as revealed by the recent videos. I have just received a swarm of links by my feminist sister that claim the videos are fake.
The good news is her conscience must be bothered by the idea of the videos being genuine. That means her soul has not yet been totally devastated her support of so called abortion rights. I am glad she is mad at my posts....I still have a sister in there somewhere.
I have a general idea of how I am going to respond, but I am not going to fall into the trap of link wars. It would take me forever to go through and debunk all those links. Of course if they are fake that would be horrible. Bearing false witness is a terrible thing to do especially if you are trying to promote righteousness. But the chance of them being fake is zilch to zero.
Any suggestions would be helpful before I respond to her.

Yes, make her prove her accusations. Do not fall into her trap of proving your point of view. Of course they are not fake/ duh. They are just regular conversations. Hugh Hewitt had a great point - we ONLY will win by saying it is infanticide. It is. That is non-negotiable. you can easily get waylaid by proving point by point.
I wouldn’t go there, personally. It is Mengele stuff, what the Nazis did to find out how their pilots would fare if shot down in the North Sea. Science without morals. Science without God. Science run amok. Ghoulish. Make HER squirm, don’t budge.
Oh I have made her squirm allright. And likely several other facebook friends too who have not replied. I have made it a point not to be political on my facebook page, but this is not politics. That would be like saying the holocaust was politics. This is the core of what we are as human beings and we cannot be silent regardless of the costs.

It is interesting that your sister is claiming the videos are fake although as far as I know not even planned parenthood is claiming the videos are fake. They are calling the videos invasion of a woman’s privacy. Why is she making a claim that even PP hasn’t made?

Let her know that this is too important to you as to be poo-pooed away as a mistake.
Give her the option to prove them fake and if she can’t then you need to decide what type of relationship you want to continue having with her if she continues supporting them.

Ask her why, after the first video, Cecile Richards apologized for its "tone." Why didn't she repudiate the content if the recording was a fake?
Thanks to CMP, the poor-choicers can never again accuse pro-life advocates of using "fake" abortion images in their presentation again. A video of someone poking through a casserole dish full of baby parts, in a Planned Parenthood facility, is far more grotesque than anything the Genocide Awareness Project has placarded on a college campus.

If the videos are fake, why hasn’t Planned Parenthood responded to anything the video makers have said? The only thing that is fake is the notion that women are benefited by the slaughter of innocents.
Those who are criticizing the videos complain that the videos are edited. This sounds bad until you consider that all videos are edited to some degree. All news channels edit. 60 Minutes edits. 20/20 edits. Now if they are splicing and dicing so as to put words in Planned Parenthood's mouth, that would be a problem. But what they have done instead is cut the tapes to smaller, more digestible parts while making the entire unedited tapes available for anyone interested. (Something news organizations don't do)
